The urgency of external spread during the Yan'an period

During the Yan'an period, due to various subjective and objective reasons, the image of the Communist Party of China was not known to the outside world and even misunderstood. The Kuomintang government has blocked the economy, military, and journalism of the border areas, and isolated from the Shaanxi -Gansu -Ningxin border area with the outside world. At the same time, the Kuomintang's "Central Daily" continued to distort the facts and published a large number of stigma and demonized news reports of the Communist Party of China. More importantly, as an important force of the World Anti -Fascist Union, the Communist Party of China urgently needs to convey its anti -Japanese claims to domestic and foreign and allow China and the world to understand the Communist Party of China. The communication power determines the influence, and the right to speak determines the initiative. Therefore, it has strengthened foreign publicity, broke through the Kuomintang's news blockade, explained the party's policies and policies, demonstrated the real image of the Communist Party of China, and became an urgent task of the party.

Telling the spread of Yan'an Story

Global construction. During the Yan'an period, the Party Central Committee built media clusters that spread foreign communication by establishing foreign propaganda agencies, establishing overseas newspapers, and setting up radio stations. Faced with the comprehensive blockade of the Kuomintang, the central government proposed the "Stepping Foreign Propaganda" policy to strive for the support of overseas Chinese and international friends. First of all, in 1938, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to establish the International Propaganda Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and set up an international publicity group in the office. The party adheres to the principle of seeking truth from facts, which has a positive effect on the party's foreign propaganda work.

Keep an open and inclusive posture. During the Yan'an period, Mao Zedong actively invited foreign journalists to inspect the border area, telling the revolutionary cause of the Communist Party of China, and changing the wrong understanding of foreign journalists. After Snow arrived in Yan'an, Zhou Enlai not only enthusiastically formulated the interview route for him, but also promised that his interviews would not be subject to any restrictions. In today's globalization, China needs to strengthen international communication capabilities with an open and inclusive attitude.
