I found that when I felt that an image was very attractive, it was often not "because it broke the convention, but" although "it broke the convention, it was also very interesting. Here, the image in front of us breaks the routine from the following aspects: this creature has no eyes, only one horn, the focus is blurred, the highlights lack details, and there is an incredible graininess. It seems that there is no strong and powerful. Interest center. So, what made this image successful? In my opinion, it is indeed successful and very successful.

Do not connect good works with rules, composition or successful cheats. The image is — or should be an emotion, a feeling, a kind of emotion, an experience, a moment, and this image is exactly the case. This image made me feel the heat shrouded in the dust; I felt tired; I felt that the life of this creature was overwhelmed by the hot sun and dust. Of course, I may project my personal experience into this image, but when we are watching a piece of art, why not do this? We bring our life experience into the viewing of images. I can feel that the hot summer in the desert is defeating me, and I can imagine why the bull pressed its head so low.

From the perspective of photography, I think this image is extremely beautiful, but if any photography is involved in it, this beauty will no longer exist. To show us the eyes of animals, adjust the exposure to obtain more accurate shadows, and eliminate these sand -like granules. We may have a more accurate understanding of this animal. However, in this way, our feeling of "what kind of animal is this" has been weakened.

The entire set of images of Plitzk is about one thing: what is the feeling of animals on the pasture of Texas. Compared with the scenes we usually see, I think this image has higher achievements. For example, on the arable land standing next to dairy cows, the picture observed from our ordinary perspective is any photographer holding a camera. Can be done. This set of images further showed us that it did not look like, but what it felt like -the photographer deliberately and skillfully destroyed the routine, just to pursue a higher -level effect than the vision. This is indeed an amazing achievement for just a group of cows as a shooting object.
