Q: When I participated in the 11th Jiangsu Book Fair last year, you once said that you will continue to present a spiritual meal of traditional culture for readers. Now that the new book "Chinese Craftsmanship" is here, what is the original intention of creation?

A: In the second half of this year, the 20th general of the party was grandly held. At the beginning of the year, I was considering what theme and form of writing, as a gift to the 20th National Congress. In the end, I decided to show the spirit of a great country with calligraphy. In this "Chinese Craftsmanship", I chose all ancient texts related to craftsmen. They use the calligraphy calligraphy as a carrier and use the traditional literature and text to add solution.

In my opinion, in the context of the new era, as a calligrapher, we should stand at a wider perspective to look at the cause we are engaged in, establish the feelings of the family, and connect the history, the times, the motherland, and the people Common fate, write the spirit of the times with the pen in your hand, show the fashion of the times.

Q: Calligraphy is a unique form of art in China and inherited for thousands of years. In addition to showing the fashion of the times, do you have tried for innovative forms in promoting traditional culture with calligraphy?

A: Indeed, as an art form that has passed on for thousands of years, calligraphy has its responsibility and mission in promoting traditional culture. Especially at the moment, people can't do without mobile phones. How to make the valuable time of reading "recapture" people is worth thinking about.

So this year, I also published a book called "Reading the Analects of Daily". The whole book is that I copied the entire "The Analects of Confucius" with Xiao Kai, and then the premiere of the famous scholars and the senior publisher Mr. Jianming, the full translation of the whole article, and the annotation of key words.

The book design is to split the 20 articles of the Analects into a reading plan for more than 300 days a year. Read a pair of pages daily. Traditional culture slowly penetrates into life.

Q: In fact, calligraphy itself is a traditional Chinese culture that can reflect ingenuity. How do you realize the word "ingenuity" in the process of creating this book?

A: I wrote 34,000 words in this book. I also clearly remembered: From the second day of the second day of February of the lunar calendar to the third day of March, the "Grand Festival". In this month, I have no heart, and it can be said that it is "Linchi continued", so my heart is full.

Calligraphy is an art category that requires meditation to create boutiques. This state of mind is positively reflected in ingenuity. Especially in the past two years, due to the impact of the epidemic, I felt more and more. In the special period of inconvenience to go out, I have more time to read books, improve myself, and create carefully.

Q: In recent years, you have appeared in the Jiangsu Book Fair every year. You have also become a rare guest -participated in the 12th Jiangsu Book Fair so far. Why can't I go to the "Book Fair"?

A: In recent years, it is actually a difficult task to bring a new book at the Jiangsu Book Fair every year. At the same time, the Jiangsu Book Fair is a "big test" for me, and it is also my "inspirational moment". I urge me to have new works every year and come to accept everyone's review.

Every time, when I see the readers who are waiting for signing for sale, my mood is always complicated. The work can be loved by everyone, further strengthening my confidence and determination to create for the people, and also bring me great joy and comfort.
