Today (June 30) in the afternoon, the "Enriching Glory · Beauty -Commemorating the 100 Years of Suzhou Beauty Construction School" series of activities was held at Suzhou Art Museum. "Enriching Glory · Beauty" originated from the 10th anniversary of Suzhou Beauty.

Yang Wentao, deputy director of the Suzhou Public Cultural Center and deputy director of Suzhou Art Museum, introduced that this year is the 100th anniversary of the Suzhou Fine Arts. "The spirit of the wind and rain, the spirit of the beauty, Dan Qing cast a century of glory. In order to celebrate the century, the Suzhou Public Culture Center plans to organize the full glory · beauty -to commemorate the 100 -year series of Suzhou Beauty Specialized Schools, and further inherit and promote" forbearance and benevolence. In 1922, Yan Wenliang and painted friends Hu Jizhong, Zhu Shijie, Gu Zhonghua, Cheng Shaochuan, etc., founded Suzhou Art School in Canglang Pavilion in the ancient cultural city. In 1932, it was officially named Suzhou Fine Arts College, referred to as Suzhou Fine Arts.

Yan Wenliang is the principal, the director of Hu Jizhong, and Zhu Shijie as the director of the affairs. The Suzhou people joked the school with the three surnames of the dialect, "Eye Black Bead", and "Eye Black Bead" also implied the three unique eyes, which means that the paintings of the painting world.

Mr. Yan Wenliang, the founder of Suzhou Meishang, was born in a painter family in Suzhou. He was artistic since childhood. At the age of 16, he was admitted to the Shanghai Commercial Press Study Study Printing, Edition and Printing Technology, and then transferred to the map room to learn Western painting. In 1912, he tried to make oil painting paint by himself to create the first oil painting "Shihu Sar Month"; in 1919, he initiated the organizational Suzhou Art Championship to be the first national art exhibition in the history of modern art in my country; it was outstanding in 1920. The pink painting "Kitchen" marks the maturity of his early creation. The painting was awarded the French Salon Honor Award in 1929. In 1928, he went to study in France and inspected European art. During the period in Europe, he shrinks his clothes, purchased and returned to the famous sculpture gypsum statue of nearly 500 pieces, and more than 10,000 books, making the equipment of Suzhou Fine Arts a crown of the country.

In 1931, Suzhou Art College established a school board of directors. The chairman of the chairman was Mr. Yan Wenliang's close friend and Wu Zishen, the richest man in Suzhou. Wu Zishen successively supported the construction of Suzhou Art College. In 1932, at the suggestion of Wu Zishen, Wu Family invested 54,000 yuan to buy a new school building on the east side of Canglang Pavilion. The Suzhou Aesthetic Teaching Building, established by Wu Zishen, adopts the Greek -style palace building, column arcade, magnificent and spacious. The underlying layer is the theoretical classroom, the middle office, plaster sketch room, and art display room. The upper level is the Chinese painting internship room, library, and western painting human classroom.

In addition to cultivating painting talents, Suzhou Fine Arts also focuses on social needs, emphasizing "implementing the actual talent of education and contacting production, cultivating useful talents that the society needs" in professional restructuring, adding practical art departments, and establishing printing, casting, version of version, and photography workshop. It is the leader of Chinese design art.

In addition, Suzhou Art College has also established an animation department to cultivate and transport the first generation of animation talents and backbones for our country. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Suzhou Meiji Animation Department merged into the Beijing Film Academy.

By the time of the adjustment of the college in 1952, Suzhou Art College merged with Shanghai Fine Arts and the Department of Art of Shandong University. East China Art College (1959 was renamed Nanjing Academy of Arts). More than 1,600 graduates have been trained in Suzhou Meiji for thirty years.

It commemorates the 100 -year series of Suzhou American Special Construction Schools from July to December 2022, including four theme exhibitions, four tribute exhibitions, three seminars and exchanges, and public education activities supporting some exhibitions. At present, pay tribute to the first exhibition of Suzhou Meimei specialized schools- "Books: Artist's Practice" has already made a wonderful appearance in the Suzhou Art Museum. 75 (group) works from 30 artists from all over the country. One theme, with different art forms such as painting, sculpture, art installation, and video, presents the special cultural attitude and visual expression of the artist when facing the cultural carrier of "book".
