Mengxin Note: Don't I know these common sense, right?
Author:Chengdu Museum Time:2022.06.30
Don't pull me! I want to start sharing the "curiosity baby" happy daily life :)
As a newly -coming internship, Xiao Mengxin, there are 100,000 to ask every day! Perhaps these things that are common sense for museum staff and enthusiasts are unknown for the newly -entered cultural expo industry!
Now, Mengxin will share with you some record notes in work, let's take a look at these small common sense of "don't understand, understand".
1
Are exhibits real?
In the exhibition hall, I often hear the whispering of the audience's doubt: "Is it true?" Some people identified it empty mouth: "It's really so precious, maybe I might show it to you, it must be based on one!"
In fact, the writing of the museum exhibits has strict specifications. If it is not the original of the cultural relics, it will definitely clearly identify on the explanation card, such as "replica" or "imitation product".

Moreover, "replicas" and "imitation products" are not casual. "Copy products" are completely according to the original cultural relics, and the original state is copied; "imitation products" may change according to the condition and proportion according to the situation. Taking the weaving model unearthed from the old official Shanhan tomb displayed on the second floor of Chengbo on the second floor as an example, there is a "connecting rod type, one -hook multi -reactive flower wood weaving model", which indicates that It is not only exactly the same as the original, but even the material used in the same tomb. There is a tall weaving "imitation product" next to it, which is enlarged and recovered according to the model, allowing the audience to intuitively understand the tall and preciseness of the Han Dynasty weaving.

The copy and imitation of collections are also one of the necessary means for the protection and research of collections. Don't mix it with "fraud"!

Why is the exhibition hall so dark?
Once, when Meng Xin entered the exhibition hall, he saw a child standing outside and refused to enter. He said, "It's too dark inside, I'm afraid!" Why is the exhibition hall so dark? Is it too big that the museum is too big and need power saving?
--of course not!
First of all, children are afraid of darkness, but exhibits are afraid of light. Many exhibits in the museum, especially the "weak and poor" silk, calligraphy and painting, wooden cultural relics, etc., if they are illuminated by light for a long time, it is easy to be damaged. This is also the reason why the flashes are prohibited in the exhibition hall.
Secondly, the lights in the exhibition hall have been carefully designed. The dark environment creates a quiet atmosphere of viewing, the light and darkness of the light highlights the cultural relics itself, and it can guide the audience's attention to notice the details of the cultural relics, inscriptions, and patterns.

How to get the name of the cultural relics?
When everyone watched the exhibition, did you think the name of some cultural relics was strange like Mengxin? Some are particularly long, some are short, some are prestigious, and some are cute. Who took the names of these cultural relics? How to take it?
The name of the cultural relics is standardized, and the general principle is "science, accuracy, and standardization", so that "watching its name and knowing its appearance". Generally speaking, there are three parts of cultural relics: or authors, characteristics, and device types. For example, Chengbo's "Xing Kiln Official Word White Porcelain Bottle", "Xing Kiln" is the production, "official character model" is its characteristic, because the bottom of its bottom is engraved with the word "official", which means that it may be the kiln factory for the court for court. For products used by officials, the "white porcelain bottle" is the color and type of cultural relics. At this point of view, is it clear?

In addition, many cultural relics have inscriptions, and they must be prioritized when naming!比如成博这尊“张元造释迦多宝像”,便是因为其背后刻有铭文,详细记录了这尊造像是“大同十一年十月八日”由“佛弟子张元”为“亡The "Sakado Gem Studi" created by parents ", so it was named directly.
Zhang Yuan created Sjamebao like Nanliang
In fact, more cultural relics are not so clear. For example, this huge Buddha head is unearthed in Kuanxiangzi, Chengdu, and the rest of the information is not available, so it has to be called "Buddha head"! Looking forward to getting more clues in the future, solving the mystery for it, and taking an exclusive good name.

Portrait stone? Portrait brick? Is it two in one?
In the exhibition hall on the second floor of Chengbo, there are a batch of exquisite portrait stones. But looking at it ... Hey, why are some "portrait stones" and some are "portrait bricks"? Are they two in one one? Really!
Portrait stones are architectural stones in buildings such as underground tombs and ancestral halls. The images on it are mainly carved; portrait bricks are made of unique pottery. Generally, patterns and patterns are used to form patterns and patterns.

Portrait stones and portrait bricks are the treasures of the two Han art. They are diverse in shape, wonderful patterns, and rich themes. Like a vivid and vivid encyclopedia, they reproduce the different aspects of politics, military, production, life, and cultural art thousands of years ago.

Is the bronze blue?
Bronze is the earliest alloy in the history of smelting, and it was widely used in the lives of the ancients thousands of years ago. However, Mengxin once had a question: As a ritual, bronze is so miserable, is it not prestigious?
Later, Meng Xincai learned ashamed that the original bronze was also called "Jijin", and it was actually golden! The "gold" mentioned in the previous literature often refers to bronze! Because bronze is easy to oxidize, after many years of moisture or buried in the soil, the surface will be covered by green rust, so when it is discovered by later generations, there is a "bronze" statement.
