Sun Yisheng: This "retreat" meaning is more required. It may be related to my previous writing status. It is already very good to write five hundred words a day before writing. A author still needs a certain number of works to support himself. Repeated modifications and characters are not excuses to write less. Lazy is. Writing is not to rely on talent support. Fighting laziness is the manifestation of daily life. Therefore, this "retreat" is more urged by myself, which I use to resist laziness.

Zheng Lin: Best -selling works? ——It is because the two works published before are not selling well, so do you want to try a more "best -selling" creative path?

Sun Yisheng: The first book may not be sold well, but the second book is pretty good. Relatively speaking, writing this is not related to the first two books. Originally, I had the idea of ​​writing a better novel.

Zheng Lin: Is the result of the trial smooth?

Sun Yisheng: It may not be as the result as I think, it can be said to be an unexpected harvest. I wrote that I found that I can't compromise some things, not to say that compromise is not a good novel. It may be caused by my own personality. My first idea is to write a simple story in a simple sentence. This is not difficult. The difficulty is that after the sentence is written, the described story or things even exceeds my understanding, that is, this attempt I accidentally found another way to write a spiritual writing, and I temporarily decided to change my original thoughts and not let the rules limit it. Let go of writing, what can be written like. The so -called, what you want is to get.

Zheng Lin: Is the "best -selling" you mentioned here? In other words, what is your understanding of a "best -selling" book?

Sun Yisheng: This "best -selling" is my own statement, not really writing a "best -selling" novel. Just for my own writing, I want to write a less puzzling novel.

Zheng Lin: After talking about the expectations of "best -selling", let's go back and talk about the publishing works that may not be "best -selling". I checked Douban's score. Your new work "Night Tour God" seems to have fallen to the same score as the previous short episode "How many times do you have a dragon". Sun Yisheng: This decline is within my expected. If I have a bad evaluation of "How many times do you have a dragon in your family", then I still have questioning myself, then I have no such doubt at the "Night Tour God". I know what I am writing, and I know me too Nothing.

As for the preface than the work is better than the work, because when I wrote the preface, I made all the words that I said it, and I wrote it very well. Zheng Lin: Hemingway once said in an interview, "Although some aspects in writing are hard and no matter how discussions, they will not cause damage to it, but the other parts are fragile. Sun Yisheng: Generally, I don't like self -interpretation. Self -explanation looks stupid, and it will make the novel stupid. Many times, there are inevitable self -compromises. Zheng Lin: Compared with the narrative logic that emphasizes the story, does your novels that are usually called "weak stories" emphasize the internal logic of a certain text?

Sun Yisheng: The internal logic of the text is a kind of wishful discovery. The reason why my novels say "weak story" may only be because it is closer to the nature of life. There is no logic of life itself. Even if there is logic, we are selectively memorized and extract. I just sank as much as possible.

Regarding the essence of this kind of life, I said before, "I saw the bugs that were in the mirror and falling, and I wanted to write my eyes first impression that I saw two bugs" and "I haven't returned home for a long time. I can talk about a less obvious example to illustrate why I pay more attention to the narrative logic, why it comes from life.

When I was writing a novel, I paid attention to these seemingly supplementary details, but it was something important as the storyline. Zheng Lin: Ask the conventional question, compared to the "hard" and "fragile" inside the text, what is your daily writing habits? Is there a fixed schedule or a stronger inspiration?

Sun Yisheng: The daily writing habits are a large proportion of ideas. This idea, including the outline of the novel and the proportion of structure, will write a lot of draft paper. Compared to the advent of sudden inspiration, it is important to think about it. Many inspiration suddenly comes, but it is late after thinking about meditation.

Zheng Lin: Your first novel collection "How many times do you have a dragon" tried a very diverse style, and under the editorial organization of "The Night Tour God", the theme style is closer, which means that you have found that you have found it Is the most suitable expression of your own text style? Or is it still a "unknown"?

Sun Yisheng: It can only be said that at this stage, there is already a mature style close to "The God of Night Tour" will continue, and it can be written for a long time. But it is not ruled out that there will be other styles of attempts.

For example, this "best -selling" category of writing on hand is another style. This is an unexpected narrative. A kind of attempt has never been encountered before. At the beginning, I thought it was just a short story. Later, I thought it was a collection of short stories. Now I have written 270,000 words for three months, and it is far beyond my expectations. Sun Yisheng: It should be the passion of creation.
