Archaeologists have found a large number of copper coins, money casting Tao Fan and smelting, well wells from the Western Han Dynasty to Xin Mang.
Zhaolun's official casting site is located in Zhaolun Village, the Daowang Street Office of Xianxi New City, Xixian New District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. Beginning in December 2015, the Han Chang'an City Working Team of the Institute of Archeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Xi'an Cultural Relics Protection Archaeological Research Institute jointly formed archeological teams to conduct archeological exploration and excavation of this site.
The site is divided into two parts: south and north. The north is a large ring, and the area of the ring is about 100,000 square meters. The south is a city site. Beginning in March 2021, archeologists carried out a new round of excavation work in the northern part of the Rings in the northeast of Zhaolun Village, and discovered more than 100 gray pit in the Western Han Dynasty and the New Mang period. 11 sites, 18 wells, one brick pool, three smelting relics, many grounds of bricks or money, and thousands of money and fans have been unearthed.
According to Zhang Jianfeng, a researcher at the Institute of Archeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the types of Qianfan have "five baht", "Daquan Fifty", "Koizumi Zhiyi", "Five Swords", "Five Swords and Five Thousands", etc. The tile tiles, tiles, 鼓, drum pipes, etc. From the perspective of the shape, they are relics in the Western Han Dynasty and the New Mang period. In addition, copper coins such as "five baht", "Daquan Fifty", "Fifth Five Thousands" were unearthed.
Zhang Jianfeng said that the Zhaolun Guan Guan's money -casting site is the most important existing Western Han and Xin Mang period national coin sites in China. The relics of this archeological discovery were large and diverse, which was of great significance to study the monetary casting process, currency and economic policy changes at the time.
