In 2002, he went to Xi'an for a business trip. When he strolled in this millennium ancient city, he encountered an ancient ink by chance, so he loved it and loved it. In the next few years, he collected countless ornamental ancient inks for the next few years. Let the historical and culture of this ancient ink be passed down smoothly. He first thought of the re -engraving. Because he was not from the carving, he decided to start with Fan Zhu.

In the early days of production, he tried countless times, and failed countless times. He had used plastic molds and activated carbon as materials, but he could not meet his own requirements. At that time, there were some broken tea left in the family. The idea of ​​trial was tried to test, but I did not expect to make a piece of tea brick. This is the beginning of his tea carving career.

It is made to make raw materials through water and tea as raw materials, but it is difficult to achieve the carving effect on the premise of fine finished products. Later, after continuous testing, it improved the product and fineness, but it is still difficult to meet the expected requirements. Establishing a lot of money to buy a more finely grinding ball mill, Emperor Tian finally lived up to the people. He produced a delicate and shiny tea carving product. It seemed like jade under the light and had high artistic ornamental value.

After ten years of grinding a sword, after decades of research and production, he took the tea carving products to the house and attended the exhibition at the Art Fair across the country.

In 2016, when the exhibition was exhibited in Beijing, the tea carving established by Qi attracted the attention of CCTV's "Beautiful China Bank" and was interviewed. In 2017, Qi was founded at the China (Beijing) Vocational Skills Expo and won the Guardian Award of the Master of Craftsman. In the same year, at the Second Chifeng Cultural Expo, Qi established his works to win two gold awards and one silver award. In 2018, in the Hebei Provincial Excellent Arts and Crafts Competition, Qi established the tea carving "Hollow Guanyin" won the excellent award.
