Alumni donate to build a statue of Confucius inheritance and re -teaching

In the new semester, a statue of Confucius settled in Xipu Primary School in Laidian Town, Xianyou County, adding a humanistic landscape to the campus. On September 13, the school organized teachers and students to bow to "Confucius" to express a lofty respect for the "Wan Shi Teachers Table" (pictured).

The statue of Confucius was donated by Zheng Bihui, chairman of Hebei Minhui Food Co., Ltd., and his wife Chen Lixin. "Confucius" is wearing a wide -sleeved robe, a belt ring ruler, a kind eyebrow, and a cricket. The statue is made of granite green rock, weighing 5.5 tons and 4.2 meters high, of which the base is 1.2 meters high and the total cost is 50,000 yuan.

Zheng Bihui, who is engaged in nuts processing trade in Hebei, cares about the development of his hometown of education. Before the start of the new semester, he learned that his alma mater integrated excellent traditional culture into teaching, and after the Confucius Confucianism, Chinese classics recitation contest, and morning reading Chinese classics, he decided to donate a Confucius. The statue is to create a learning atmosphere for alma mater, continue to promote classic education of Chinese studies, and stimulate students to learn traditional culture enthusiasm.

According to reports, under the enthusiastic donation of the vast alumni Xiangxian and overseas Chinese, the hardware of the Xipu Elementary School campus, which was founded in 1938, has been significantly improved. In 1956, the overseas Chinese Zheng Zu led the donation to build 4 classrooms, and settled the history of the use of the ancestral hall to protect the class. In 1966, the overseas Chinese Lin Guoxiang donated another teaching building with his fellow villagers to finish the small. In 1995, the overseas Chinese Dai Qingchi, Lin Qinglong, and Fu Qingrong donated millions of yuan to build a new teaching building.
