The excavation of the Yuan Dynasty ship site is located in the waters of the Holy Cup of Zhangzhou, Fujian.

In 2014, with the approval of the State Administration of Cultural Relics, the Fujian Provincial Museum organized a survey of underwater cultural heritage in related sea areas to find the underwater location of the sea boat for the first time.

In 2021, the Archaeological Research Center and other units of the State Administration of Cultural Relics conducted a third investigation on the site. It was found that the underwater accumulation was mainly porcelain and hull, especially within about 300 square meters on both sides of the hull. The porcelain accumulation of the porcelain, and most of them can be restored; this survey also collects nearly 700 sets of specimens, rich in organic types, including bowls, cups, washing, high -foot cups and incense burners, as well as dragon plates and Pisces washing Wait.
