"Jinan Spring · City Cultural Landscape" archeological results picture exhibitions, many citizens experience the historical and cultural heritage of Jinan

On September 6, the 10th Jinan International Spring Festival officially opened. As one of the important activities of this year's Spring Water Festival, the archeological results exhibition of "Jinan Spring · City Cultural Landscape" meets with the citizens at the School of Xuewen, Jinan Prefecture. The exhibition is hosted by the Jinan Cultural and Tourism Bureau, and organized by the Jinan Archaeological Research Institute and the Jinan Cultural Relics Protection and Utilization Center.

The reporter learned from the Municipal Archaeological Research Institute that Jinan is a large archeological city, with rich archeological resources and has achieved generous archeological results over the years. Since last year, Jinan City has completed 176 archeological exploration projects, totaling 99.58 million square meters; 17 places were found to be protected by the original site; archeological excavations were performed in 20 projects, 756 ancient tombs were excavated, and the excavation area was 11,350 square meters. , Extraordinary cultural relics (sets). Among them, the tomb of the Guo family of Jinan Yuan Dynasty was rated as the "Five New Archaeological Discovery" in Shandong Province. At present, there are still important archeological discovery projects.

Jinan is a national historical and cultural city. Starting from the period of Li culture more than 8,500 years ago, human beings have been continuous this activity. After the Song Dynasty, the ancient city of Jinan has gradually become the political center of Shandong Province, and a relatively stable layout was formed in the Ming Dynasty. Essence Archeology confirmed that within 5 kilometers of the ancient city and its circular, human activities were performed within 5 kilometers of the Longshan culture. In the past 25 years, nearly 30 archeological excavations have been carried out in the ancient city of Jinan. These new discoveries have gradually cleared the layout of the ancient city of Jinan at various historical stages.

In order to fully demonstrate the archeological results of Jinan, the Municipal Archaeological Research Institute carefully produced the display board, which focused on the archeological results within the ancient city of Jinan and the important archaeological results that had been "new archeological discoveries in the country". They were very interested in many archeological projects displayed. Many citizens said that so many valuable archeological excavations have not been understood before.
