Every time the archeology is like a "cross" | academic star

On the hot summer, the tool bag was on the back, and the shovel was shot tightly. Facing the dazzling sun and hard land, adhere to the principle of "without rest without raining", scratching, looking for edges, samples, collecting relics, surveying and mapping, photography without stopping ...
This is the first time Hao Xuelin has participated in field internships, and it is also a regular working model that the cultural relics and museums are used in the 2019 doctoral students of the Department of Cultural Relics and Museum.
The seemingly unpopular archeology has entered the public's vision through literary works, documentaries, etc. in recent years, setting off a wave of attention. In Hao Xuelin's eight years of archeological career, there are neither thrilling stimuli, mysterious "ancient tomb risk", nor the "speaking cultural relics" in the museum. daily.
Hao Xuelin is working at the archeological site
But in Hao Xuelin's eyes, these "hard work" are not enough, for her, each archeology is like "crossing". When she reveals the relics hidden under the soil and touching the relics thousands of years ago, she will instantly cross through the modern hustle and bustle of the city, and realize the wisdom of the ancients who still benefit a lot today.
A few days ago, Hao Xuelin won the 13th "Academic Star" special prize of Fudan University. "My academic progress is inseparable from the vast academic platform of Fudan and rich academic resources." Hao Xuelin hopes to adhere to the mission of cultural workers, dedicated to exploring and restoring the original appearance of history, and transmitting Chinese civilization to more people in a diverse form. Brilliant achievements.
The association is archeological, not afraid of difficulties, the academic road is getting wider and wider
Hao Xuelin studied undergraduate at Jilin University. With the unknown and longing, she entered this field "wrong", but did not expect that this became the beginning of her fate with archeology.
In the first two years of undergraduate, under the influence of generous historical text and theoretical courses, Hao Xuelin gradually became interested and loved by archeology, and the field internship that really made her associated with archeology. "I remember that the conditions at that time were not as good as it is now. I couldn't take sunscreen nets on the construction site. I lived in a local abandoned elementary school and could not enter the city once in half a month." Hao Xuelin recalled.
This internship has become a "watershed" -the life trajectory, monotonous operations and hard practical environment for life, two o'clock, two o'clock, two o'clock, two o'clock, two o'clock, and the monotonous operation and hard work environment.
On the contrary, Hao Xuelin has more firm determination to take root in archeology -she realized that field practice is the "essence" of this professional. Compared with the historical records in books, she found that at the archeological site, she could be closer to history, restore history in another way, and personally completed the transition of "discovered cultural relics" to "recorded text". With this enthusiasm, Hao Xuelin overcomes the dual test of field investigations for physical and perseverance, enjoy the fun of exploring ancient civilization and archeological atmosphere with teachers, leaders, and teammates, and finally achieved the best results.
In November 2019, Hao Xuelin and Mr. Chen Chun participated in the first Archaeological Graduate Forum at Nanjing University
With excellent academic performance and rich practical experience, in 2017, Hao Xuelin entered the Fudan Cultural Relics and Museum Department of Museum to study for a master's degree through exemption assessment. In Fudan, she followed the archeology everyone Teacher Chen Chun to study archeological theories, through extensive reading and exchanges, continuously understood the cutting -edge dynamics of the academic community, and participated in the translation of "Land use, settlement form, and livelihood agriculture: a population of population." The classics of many foreign archaeological theories such as the systematic theory and early Central America "and the early Central America have laid a solid theoretical basis for research.
To persist in deep cultivation and maintenance and innovation in one field, Hao Xuelin is afraid of. She has also been tangled about whether to apply for a blog, but she is extremely clear, that is, "we must firmly take the road of archeology." In the end, with the advice of the instructor Chen Chun and her family's encouragement, she decided to continue studying.
It was another important field experience that laid her research direction -research semester, Hao Xuelin participated in the excavation and finishing of the original porcelain kiln site in Shangzhu Shandong Han, Deqing, Zhejiang. The "bell" this special device class and the primitive porcelain in the Han Dynasty transitioned to the mature celadon, and thereby determined the topic of the master's degree thesis- "Eastern Han Dynasty Primitive Porcelain Early Detective".
With the continuous deepening of Qin and Han ceramics, Hao Xuelin's research interest is increasingly strong, and he has strengthened his academic belief. Chen Chun affirmed the significance of her thesis topic in the history of ceramic, and recommended her teacher Professor Zheng Jianming from this field.
In July 2020, Teacher Zheng Jianming led students to conduct a kiln site survey in Shangyu, Zhejiang
At that time, Zheng Jianming also remembered the student. He recalled: "When he first met Hao Xuelin in 2017, he was on the next Si Yue kiln site on the Linhu Lake. Very deep impression. "
At this point, Hao Xuelin's research has been further refined, and she has begun to focus on ceramic archeology, and focuses on the ceramics of the Qin and Han dynasties. It not only studies the entire process of ceramics from production management to circulation consumption. Technology, social life, cultural aesthetics.
"Teacher Zheng emphasized that the emphasis on knowledge and action not only provides us with various resources such as internships, lectures, conferences, and exhibitions, but also actively respond to the problems and thinking raised by everyone. Look at the specimen ... "Hao Xuelin said that Teacher Zheng's guidance continued to inspire her academic enthusiasm and potential. At present, she has published one archeological report and published more than ten academic articles, many of which are published in CSSCI. Hao Xuelin's academic achievements
Walking Huaxia, rooting the loess, determined to spread Chinese civilization
Looking back at Hao Xuelin's growth experience, the concept of "practicing true knowledge" runs through. She likes the practicality of archeological disciplines. When it comes to field investigations and excavations, she always smiles and says "not hard" "very enrichment."
Different from other professional students, for "archeologists" like Hao Xuelin, the construction site is more like their "campus". The village next to the site is their "dormitory". Thousands of years of loess, local museums, and secret warehouses are the "classrooms" for their new knowledge.
After the graduate stage starts, students need to complete all professional courses in the first semester, and then continue to go to various construction sites to investigate. "To do ceramic archeology, you need to get started to perceive the glazed decoration and firing process of the artifacts. Demonstration of the project. "

"Because it is liberal arts, it is mostly a major in our specialty or girls." Hao Xuelin said that despite some of the physical work on the construction site, they are slightly weak than boys, but they are usually more meticulous and patient. In addition to solid historical skills, archeology also requires them to "both literature and sciences" and be proficient in many skills such as photography, modeling, and drawing. Hao Xuelin once independently conducted three -dimensional modeling and peaceful section drawing on tombs, kiln and other fields. It was also responsible for measurement, description, photography, statistical analysis, and some scientific and technological testing of thousands of unearthed ceramics ...

Compared with the bitterness in the eyes of others, Hao Xuelin cherishes many unique fragments in the archeological process. Walking on the land of Huaxia, she clearly remembers that in the Ningxia Suyukou porcelain kiln site in the nature reserve, I have intimate contact with the rock sheep at the foot of the mountain to taste the local specialties. When the fellows communicated cordially; when the Lingling of Hunan excavated the Fengshupo kiln site from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, she was pleasantly surprised to receive unexpected historical materials from the local older generation. Worship of Kiln God, search for the "witnesses" who have seen cultural relics so far ...

So far, Hao Xuelin has participated in the archeological work of 14 sites. The archeological era runs from prehistoric to Ming and Qing Dynasties. The space involves Ningxia, Jilin, Zhejiang, Hunan, Henan, Jiangxi and other provinces. Types, responsible for the collection and finishing of important porcelain kiln sites such as black glazed porcelain, blue and white porcelain, copper red glaze (color) in the new series of archeological progress of the porcelain kiln site since the 21st century. Her academic achievements are mostly transformed from practical results. At present, Hao Xuelin has participated in two ceramics liangs and participated in the writing of dozens of entries of the third edition of the "Chinese Encyclopedia".
"Archaeological walking between science and humanities, paying attention to both people and nature, love both material and good research spirit, both in the field and adhere to the book." Essence The archeological data is complicated. To do a good job of research, it is bound to sacrifice some leisure and entertainment time.
She gradually discovered that in the past, archeological work was a specific perspective of "things". With the exploration and excavation, it continued to answer the various unknown of history; at the moment, archeological work also showed a lively "human" of "people". The perspective is a unique way to experience the local social and cultural. The cultural customs spread through the ages are still traceable in getting along and communicating with the locals.
Various field inspection experiences have also deepened her thinking on social development. In infrastructure and archeology, "archeologists" must follow the land development project, and they must rush to complete a series of work such as the excavation, cleaning and recording of the excavation area before the date of the soil. "The time for infrastructure and archeology is often very limited, and rescue excavation is the norm. Many important sites, if we do not do it, it is likely to be razed to the ground." The choice between economic construction and cultural protection often allows Hao Xuelin I feel sorry, this also inspires her to go on in this field and contribute her own power to Chinese culture.
Hao Xuelin and Yang Jintong Make Ceramics unearthed in the tomb of the Han Dynasty of Dongshu Mountain in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou
With the improvement of the Shanghai epidemic, Hao Xuelin recently embarked on a new road of archeology -this is a re -departure after a precipitation. This time, she will arrive in Yuhang, Hangzhou to participate in the excavation of the city site of Lao Yuhang County; once again, she chose to give up the leisure of the holiday and go to the front line of archeology.
"Today, the country is vigorously advocating the construction of Chinese characteristics, Chinese style, and Chinese style archeology. As a 'archeological person', I also hope to continue to contribute to the country's archeological undertakings with action." Hao Xuelin said.
