In 100 years, foreigners finally understand how this mirror in China is going on

In the mythology, the artifacts that can light up the evil spirits are shown in the demon mirror, and in real history, although there is no monster and monsters, it also has a magical quasi -artifact mirror -the Western Han Mirror.
It was unearthed in the ancient tomb of the Western Han Dynasty, made from a whole piece of metal grinding. On one side is an relief pattern, and the other side is a smooth mirror, which is flat and unpredictable. It looks no different from those props in costume TV series.
But when the light was shot to the mirror surface, the magical thing happened, and the light reflected on the mirror hit the wall, showing the appearance of the pattern behind the mirror.
Ah, this, the pattern behind it has not been directly shot by the light. How can its shadow reflect? And the pattern is on the back, can this solid hard metal block still be transparent?
This incredible phenomenon shocked many foreigners who saw it for the first time. What is the mystery of this metaphysics? Some domestic experts also found that this mirror had almost no reproduction after the Han Dynasty, which seemed to be a unique technical patent at that time.
It wasn't until the beginning of the 19th century that the Westerners came into contact with the magic mirror for about 100 years that they figured out what was going on with the gadgets we made thousands of years ago.
A channel called Steve Mould on the oil pipe, which recently talked about what the principle of this magic mirror containing the mysterious power of the oriental power.
First of all, if we have a complete smooth plane mirror, the light will reflect perfectly when it is illuminated on it.
But if an exaggerated potholes appear on the surface of the mirror, the light shot in all directions will be refracted to the distance and hit the wall or screen.
So if the large bumps are distributed, can it constitute the pattern of relief on the back of the mirror?
The answer is not yet.
There are two reasons. One is that if the pattern is formed, then when the mirror itself, the image disappears at a distance, or the reflected light begins to interfere with each other and causes the image to be confused.
However, in reality, this did not happen.
The mirror pulls the image has not changed
Second, if you look closely, we will find that these patterns are composed of dark and bright edges, but such bumps are difficult to form such a regular arrangement.
Next, Steve changed his mind and changed the exaggerated pit of the mirror to a tiny, difficult to detect.
Naturally, the light will not let go of this small change. The beam after the reflection has some dense changes due to the existence of the edges. If there is a wall on the opposite side, there will be some strong light.
The right beam on the right is dense and sparse
Imagine that if there are several raised raised with a few mirrors on the back of the pattern, the presentation of the image is not a difficult thing.
However, this may explain the secretly appearance in the reflected pattern, but it cannot explain why no matter how the mirror moves the presentation of the pattern, it will not change much.
Because according to this idea, the distance between the wall and the mirror will directly affect the imaging effect. For example, if it is too close and too far, the light has not had time to disperse or gather, then the pattern will obviously be confused. The cruel reality once again overturned this inference.
However, although the problem is complicated, the solution is obediently squatting on the surface of the copper mirror waiting for us -the convex mirror.
That's right, when the light is hit to the convex mirror surface, the mirror can be reflected from the beginning, forming a situation that can have a good and dark surface from beginning to end, so that the pattern is clearly visible.
Of course, this also contains some relatively complicated mathematical principles. The functions and calculus can be mixed with one.
So a little summarizes, countless raised raised raised+bronze mirrors in the mirror surface should meet the standard of the backing imaging behind the back of the back.
At this point, the reasons for the formation of the pattern have seem to need a very accurate craft to achieve such amazing results, but how did the craftsmen do it thousands of years ago in the Han Dynasty?
In fact, this does not require craftsmen to challenge some extreme operations. During the casting process, the thin part of the pattern behind the mirror was cooled faster than the thicker part, and it was cooled faster when polishing. Familiar with a thick place.
In this way, different temperatures and other factors automatically change the physical form of the mirror unknowingly, and it is in line with the patterns behind it. There is no need to deliberately carve.
The change on the surface of this mirror can reach the level of micron level, and it is difficult to see the naked eye.
Steve also gently scarred scars on the mirror, but when the light was projected, the scar was clearly visible, and the evidence was like a mountain.
When observing light, you can also see that the mirror surface is similar to the tremor. This is the visual effect caused by the tiny bulging common effects. If these ripples are connected, it should be the appearance of the back pattern.
As for why this mirror is getting less and less after the Han Dynasty, it may be related to the mirror gradually becoming a flat mirror after that, losing its unique reflection effect.
Moreover, the copper mirror has to be polished for a long time. The metal material must be worn. It may also be unexpectedly exacerbated to constitute the environment that can promote the formation of pattern changes that can promote the formation of bronze mirrors.
The secret of the Western Han Mirror is no longer a secret. All kinds of interesting patterns can be set to the mirror and become a toy.
Einstein, constellation, villain or something can be put in.
After more than 2,000 years, ancient technology and modern design are colliding. This feeling is really cool to think about it.
