Dong Jining, born in Xianning, Hubei in October 1955, is a famous contemporary landscape painter.The former dean, professor, doctoral supervisor of the Hubei Provincial Academy of Fine Arts, director of the Chinese Artists Association, and vice chairman of the Hubei Artists Association.He has been rated as the "Outstanding Expert of the Ministry of Culture", "National Art Moral Model" and "Cultural Celebrities in Hubei Province".
