"Landscape and Tour -Xu Da Family and Nanjing Garden Special Exhibition" was launched at the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom History Museum

The curator Yao Zai first introduced that there are about 60 exhibits in this exhibition, including two first -class exhibits, which are placed in the exhibition hall: "Xu Da" and "Zhanyuan Tap". The first unit is introduced, the second unit introduces the gardens in detail, and the third unit explores the prosperity of the late Ming Dynasty and the new development after the Qing Dynasty. "Our original intention is to be a exhibition about Xu Da. The show garden has a deep relationship with the Xu Da family, so we use the garden as an entrance to the exhibition."

The first unit of the exhibition "Family Glory" tells the development trajectory of Xu Da and his descendants. Xu Da (1332-1385), the founding military commander of the Ming Dynasty, the word Tiande, Luzhou Zhongli (now Fengyang). Repeated army, moved to the north and south, holding heavy conspiracy. It can be described as the head of the honor, Jinling First Hope. The excavation of his family tombs has unearthed a large number of precious golden jade ornaments. The material is noble, the craftsmanship, the shape is unique, the style is changeable, and the luxurious color reflects the lofty political status of the family and the elegant and exquisite life style of the king and nobles of the Ming Dynasty. The second unit of the exhibition "Lidu Xian Ya" tells the development of the Xu Garden of the Ming Dynasty. After the middle of the Ming Dynasty, industrial and commercial development continued to develop, and social control gradually loosened. In the Jiangnan area, the simplicity and conservation system of the beginning of the Ming Dynasty was changed, and the house gradually became luxurious. The wind of building a garden gradually started.

The third unit "Garden is famous" tells the new development of the Xu Garden in the Qing Dynasty. With the change of dynasties, the Xu's Zhuyuan Garden gradually deserted. After entering the Qing Dynasty, some gardens were able to reproduce their vitality and even inherit the city's memory. In the late Ming Dynasty, the local literati in Nanjing were keen on the tourism and evaluation of Jinling's victory. The garden was an important cultural landmark of them. Through poetry, maps, calligraphy and painting, and conversations, they built a new city map and a garden. This model has been basically inherited and continued in the Qing Dynasty, becoming an important perspective of reading Nanjing.
