On August 25, 2022, a delegation from the Asian -African developed countries in Geneva visited the ethnic musical instrument village of Shufu County.

There are more than 150 years of production history in the ethnic musical instrument village of Shufu County. There are 27 categories and more than 50 varieties produced in instruments, which cover almost all traditional ethnic instruments in Xinjiang. In 2000, it was named "China Xinjiang Ethnic Musical Village" by the State Council, and in 2011, it was rated as the first batch of "national intangible cultural heritage productive protection demonstration bases" by the Ministry of Culture.
