Wannian Bridge, formerly known as Nanyang Bridge, commonly known as Beibei Bridge. Trusted above the Nanyang River, Nanyang City and Dongyang City connected to Guqingzhou. For thousands of years, it has been the main traffic road in the urban area of Qingzhou and the famous landscape of tourists.
Wannianqiao has been built several times, and today it has become Qi Gong Stone Bridge and Slate Bridge. The bridge is 86 meters long, 9.4 meters wide, 9 meters high, and has a wide bridge surface in the north and south. There are stone bridges on both sides of the bridge, with 18 pairs of stone treasure bottle and 19 pairs of stone lions. At the ends of the bridge, there are four large stone lions, mighty and majestic. On the railing, there is an embossed "Twenty -Four Filial Pictures" on the railings. On the west side of the bridge side, each pier has a long monster stone carving. It is said that the dragon has a nine sons and has different temperament. This stone carving monster is one of the nine sons.
The ability of water, so no matter how the river is soaring, there will never be a pier.
When the bridge was built, there was no clear record in history. But at least during the Ming Dynasty in the Song Dynasty (AD 1032-1033), there was a very distinctive wooden Hongqiao. According to ancient books, the southwest of Qingzhou City is all mountains, and the middle of the Yangshui is limited to the second city. First, the column across the water is the bridge. Every June and July, the mountains and rivers are soaring, and the water and the pillar are often bad. When Xia Yan was educated, he wanted to solve the problem of water and traffic in the city. After listening to a suggestion of "abolition" (prisoner), first solid the shore with boulder, and then take dozens of large woods, and cleverly wear it.
Connected, the shelves are flying bridges, and there are no bridge columns in the middle. This is the first unique bridge built in China in my country. Although there are no bridge columns, it has been used for more than 50 years without damage. This method of making bridges has been promoted in various places. Zhang Xuanduan's "Qingming Shanghe Tu" records the structure and architectural characteristics of the Hongqiao Hongqiao in the Song Dynasty. In fact, the founder of Hongqiao is the abandoned death of Qingzhou.
Later, the Hongqiao of the wooden structure was replaced by Shiqiao and renamed Wannanqiao. Qing Guangxu's "Yidu County Tuzhi" records: "In the twelve years of Ming Yongle, Zheng Gang rebuilt, the seventh year of Hongzhi, the water flooding, the monument bridge was completely destroyed. In the twenty -two years of Wanli, Zhifu Wei Yi Feng, Zhixian County Liu Yanghao increased repair, The name is changed to Wannian Bridge. "There are many praise for Wannianqiao. Yang Yingkui from the Ming and Qing dynasties said: "The straps of the real Qingqi Qi are the Ji Gang of the Haiyu. Nantong Huaiyi, the north connected Yanji, there is no stagnation, how can it be everywhere."
In the current Qingzhou City, 7 large bridges have been built on the Nanyang River, but this tough ancient bridge still resists the erosion of wind and rain and the impact of mountain floods, and quietly inherits pedestrians and vehicles from south to north. In recent years, the Nanyang River on the up and down of the Wannian Bridge has been opened as a riverbin park. The ancient city walls have been repaired. The south of the bridge is a bustling tourism cultural commodity market, and the ends of the bridge are connected to Qingzhou Ancient Street. Wannianqiao is attracting tourists with a thick historical and cultural ancient charm.
