Zhongnan Tsinghua University and Glorious City (Chongqing) Technology Co., Ltd. cooperated to conduct construction and artistic virtual reality design practical base project projects. The starting time of the project is from October 1st, 2019 to October 1, 2020, and Mr. Li Bo serves as the project leader.

In this project, based on VR/AR technology -based design experiments and virtual imitation practices as a means, with the purpose of innovative teaching, the School of Architecture and Art is actively exploring the application of virtual reality technology in architecture, urban and rural planning, environmental design, digital media design, and related Professional fields such as product design, visual communication design; through joint construction of VR experiment/training centers and virtual simulation teaching laboratories, it has promoted the active exploration of virtual reality technology to the application of 3D information transmission in the field of pan -space design and experience -based design design. The new teaching model has formed a demonstration teaching of combining education and industry, enhanced the level of digital design practice teaching level, and promoted the integration and teaching reform of universities and enterprises in the central region and even the country.

With the joint efforts of the school and enterprise, the following main results have been achieved:

1. Base construction results

Central South University has established a project to build a glorious city (Chongqing) Technology Co., Ltd.-Zhongnan University College Student Practical Education Base. At the base, it mainly completed the construction and curriculum application, cultural heritage and social services of the training room. Through the construction of the training environment and professional courses, the relevant design professional and talent construction plan for the development of colleges and universities has been jointly established to promote the information development of the multi -disciplinary intersection of Huxiang characteristic design industry.

Construction of Zhongnan University-Glorious City Virtual Reality School Enterprise Cooperation Talent Training Base and supporting online experimental platforms, teaching resource libraries, experimental courses PPT, teaching videos and other content. Support a group of related large design majors for curriculum reforms based on virtual reality technology, successfully apply for high -level courses such as provincial virtual simulation classes, and cultivate a teaching team that is based on the direction of virtual reality. At the same time, the use of the brilliant city MARS platform to achieve multiple display methods such as the renderings of design results, architectural animation, panoramic map output, and multi -dimensional reporting, which enriched the display effect of curriculum operations. 2. Specific teaching results

Virtual reality technology has many applications in the field of education. For the major major in the planning and design of our college, the most important thing is the studio construction of professional curriculum construction and scientific research directions.
