The orchid award covers the field of "big culture", commending and rewarding globally, joining the cause of international cultural exchanges, and is committed to promoting foreign people or institutions that promote Chinese and foreign cultural exchanges and civilizations. The orchid award selection and commendation work adheres to the principles of professional, authoritative, fair, and open.

2. Award settings

3. Participating conditions

The orchid award participating objects should have the following conditions:

(1) With international perspective and humanistic feelings, adhere to the common value of peace, development, fairness, justice, democracy, and freedom, and adhere to the concept of community of human destiny;

(2) Working in the fields of "big culture", including but not limited to literature, art, film and television, publishing, translation, education, science and technology, health, media, characteristic culture, digital culture, humanities exchange activities, etc.;

(3) Actively participate in international cultural exchanges and achieve representative, iconic, and leading results in related fields, and have certain international influence.

Fourth, solicitation method

(1) Institutional recommendation

Related institutions, international organizations, Chinese embassies and consulates in China, embassies and consulates in China, and relevant Chinese and foreign civilian organizations in the "Great Culture" field can recommend participating objects.

(2) Recommendation

Foreigners or institutions can participate in the evaluation through self -recommendation, submitting participation materials, and other written recommendations of authoritative persons in related fields.

5. Selection results

The China Foreign Language Agency formed a jury composed of Chinese and foreign experts to select the award and commend the Lanhua Award winners. The award list will be announced on the website of the China Foreign Literature Agency and officially announced at the awards ceremony.
