The Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, which was established in 1999, is the only art museum in the world's special system collection and display of modern Asian modern art and contemporary art. The Fukuoka Asian Art Museum actively invited Asian artists and researchers to come to Fukuoka to conduct creative activities and carry out Asian art research. Through various art exchanges, the function of exchanging platforms for art museums can make people feel Asian art and culture closer to people. Entering the Fukuoka Asian Museum of Art, people can understand the art and culture of Asia at the moment, or resonate with the artists through the special way of Asian art. Mr. An Yongxing, the former director and critic of the Asian Art Museum, served as the curator.

Introduction to the artist

Cheng Xiaolijie

Cheng xiaojie

Born in Nanjing in 1980. Assistant and Master's instructor of the School of Fine Arts of Guangxi Normal University, Ph.D. in Fine Arts (Painting). In 2003, he graduated from the Nanjing Academy of Arts in oil painting in the undergraduate and 2010 master's degree; in 2020, he graduated from the art painting of Hongyi University in South Korea. In the same year, he was introduced as an outstanding doctoral talent overseas to Guangxi Normal University Academy of Fine Arts. From 2005 to 2012, he worked at Nanjing Academy of Art.

In 2010, he participated in the "Seventh Jiangsu Provincial Oil Painting Works Exhibition and Summary Oil Painting Research Exhibition"; in the same year, he participated in the "Jiangsu Artists Association's 3rd Newcomer Art Exhibition" to win the masterpiece award; The International Calligraphy and Calligraphy Festival "won the excellent award;

Participated in the "Chinese Youth Artist Work Exhibition" (Chengdu) in 2011 (Chengdu);

Participated in the "Fragments" invitation exhibition in 2016 (LIFE gallery, Seoul);

Participated in the "Intersection" invitation exhibition in 2017 (Choi Jung Ah gallery, Seoul);

Participated in the "Gagosipo Gallery, Seoul) in 2018;

The "The Color of Time" was held in 2019 (INSA ART Gallery, Seoul);

Participated in the "Asyaaf" Asian Young Artist Grand Exhibition (Hongyi University Modern Art Museum, Seoul) in 2020;

Participated in the "pulse: Chinese contemporary painting exhibition" in 2020 (Fukuoka City ア ジ ア Art Museum)

Participated in the "View: Chinese Contemporary Painting Art Exhibition" in 2021 (the Russian National Decoration Art Museum);

In 2021, the work won the second prize of the Best Research Exploration Award of the Italian Titanus Art Foundation "from Cadori to China -commemorate the 500th anniversary of the birthday of Titida";

2021 "Forever" celebrates the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China · 2021 Guangxi Art Works Exhibition-The Ninth Guangxi Fine Arts Exhibition won the "Excellent Works" Award (the highest award);

Participated in the "Tour: Chinese Contemporary Painting Art Exhibition" in 2021 (Milan International Art Center in Italy).
