The Summer Palace, the Royal Garden of the Qing Dynasty, was formerly known as the Qingyi Garden. It is located in the western suburbs of Beijing. It is 15 kilometers from the urban area and covers an area of about 290 hectares and is adjacent to the Yuanmingyuan. It is a large landscape garden built with the design techniques of Jiangnan gardens with Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain as the blueprint, and the design techniques of Jiangnan gardens. According to the looting of the British and French forces, there are only 530 items left in Qingyi Garden, and it is more broken.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, there are more than 40,000 art relics in the Summer Park, and the category involves copper, jade, porcelain, wood, paintware, painting and calligraphy, ancient books, enamel, watches, bambooware, root carving, miscellaneous items, etc., which almost covers China All categories of cultural relics handed down, and there are many foreign cultural relics; in terms of value, there are more than 20,000 national cultural relics, including national treasures such as Xuan Xuanzi Bai Ding, San Ji Zun, and silk long shaft Buddha statues.
