Liao Jiabin is a native of Xiamen, and he usually doesn't talk much. Most of the time is walking and shooting. In the eyes of friends, he is somewhat different. On this young photography road, he has walked from 2012 to the present, from the island to the island, and also walked himself into a "village photographer".

In his computer, 256 folders recorded his journey in the past ten years. He said that Xiamen is not the only place in Zhongshan Road, Shapo, and Botanical Gardens that everyone often mentioned. During college, Liao Jiabin studied environmental science in Fujian Normal University. Occasionally, he and his classmates went to the Cai ancient houses in Nan'an, Quanzhou. The ancient residence here covers an area of ​​more than 30,000 square meters. It is simple and clean, which makes him respectfully, and his childhood memories have emerged again. After graduating in 2012, Liao Jiabin returned to Xiamen to work. After working, he began to shoot along the place where he lived as a child. At first, it was shot in the old city area of ​​Siming District; about three years later, he began to shoot villages in Zhaishang, Wutong, Takasaki and other cities in Huli District. Each village community.

Liao Jiabin, who works in the mall, has no white tender. After his son was born in 2018, most of him went out while his child was at a lunch break. He took two or three hours under the scorching sun, and hurried home in a hurry. In recent years, his complexion has deepened a lot.

A few years ago, in order to take down the Chinese area, Liao Jiabin followed the dark wooden ladder to board the building. A big dog suddenly came out of the corridor of only one person, chasing him until the first floor, the dog gave up. A few days later, he went again before taking the angle he wanted. When he took the old streets, Liao Jiabin admitted that he would occasionally mistakenly consider the thief. After being patient, he was often invited to drink tea at the villagers' homes. Sometimes, the enthusiastic villagers sent him for one journey.

In recent years, while Liao Jiabin's footsteps have continued to extend to the island, the shooting equipment has also been replaced from a SLR camera to a mobile phone. Different from the beginning of recording shooting, he often has to shoot emotions now.

Once once, when Liao Jiabin was filming a village exported to Xiang'an exported by Xiang'an Haiye Tunnel, he encountered an uncle in his fifties and told him that before the road was not built before, the villages on both sides of the road were connected. It is a village, find a friend to drink tea, and just take a few steps. Now one road separates the village, and you have to go far away to make tea opposite. At that time, Liao Jiabin thought that if he could leave some old photos of the year, it might be a comfort to the uncle.

On New Year's Day in 2021, he wrote in the circle of friends: "In 2020, only more than 50 village communities were recorded intermittently during the limited time. In 2021, continue to get up."

What impressed him was that an old man in his 70s kept closer towards a aerial picture, and picked up a magnifying glass, pointed at a house in the photo, and said to the little grandson who accompanied him: " Look, this is our home. " Liao Jiabin himself has the habit of collecting old photos. In these photos, there are streets he once lived and walked, and he can often remember some childhood memories in this child. When the photos he took many years ago were hung on the wall, he realized that in fact, he was also taking old photos, but these were old photos of the future.
