Guo Moruo was formerly known as Guo Kaizhen. He was a well -known historian, writer, poet in modern Chinese, and a great proletarian revolutionary, social activist, outstanding leaders, and a great and outstanding patriot.

On November 16, 1892, Guo Moruo was born in a small town sandwater on the banks of the Mo Shui River. Guo Moruo's life was obsessed with literature and loved swimming. He wrote in his poem collection "Goddess": I felt like my teenager, in the hot sun, swimming in the Yangtze River as happy.

When Guo Moruo was young, he often asked his friends to go to Guanyin, Chaxi, Shawan. Not only is he longer than the free swimming, but also breaststroke and diving. He is one of the few cadres who can cross the Dadu River in Shawan Town. He studied in the Leshan High School, often swimming with his classmates with his classmates, and insisted on swimming in the cold and bitter Dadu River.

During the anti -Japanese resistance, when Guo Moruo first arrived in Wuhan, he lived in Taihe Street in Hankou. After Wuhan became the Chinese Anti -Japanese War Command, Wuhan University moved west to Guo Moruo's hometown of Leshan in April. In the 1950s, Guo Moruo donated the manuscript fee to the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He used this money to build two standard swimming pools for scientific workers in Zhongguancun, and a standard swimming pool was also repaired at the north side of the Stadium of the University of Science and Technology.
