The archeological work of the Sanxingdui site is nearing the end. Recently, archeological players found a "Four Wing Little Beast" in the 8th pit, which is the first winged beast discovered by Samsung Dou.

According to reports, the "Four Wing Little God Beasts" discovered at the top of a copper device cover on the 8th pit, which is located in the middle area of ​​the 8th pit and is temporarily named as the hollow beast cover. During the recent archeological work, archeological players found a slap to a big and inverted small copper man at the top of its top, closely attached to the hollow pattern, and struggled to support the edge of the cover, and the toes, calves, and arm muscles were full. The hollow pattern supports a platform, and stands up on the platform to stand up to a little beast.

This beast is significantly different from the previously excavated four -legged beasts discovered by Sanxingdui. Zhao Hao, the person in charge of the No. 8 pit excavation and associate professor of the Peking University Archaeological Expo College, introduced that there is still a thing on the back of the beast. Initially, it may be a model of a god tree. Therefore, there may be multiple functions in the beast. In addition, this beast is very different from other beasts, but it is in its head shape. The four -winged beasts are round -like tiger -like tigers, as well as sharp teeth. The other Samsung pile gods currently discovered are wide -mouth pork nose and are not toothy.

Experts said that the four -winged beasts may be the abstraction and recreation of real animals, and it is also a mixture of multiple animals; more importantly, the Central Plains has not found a copper respected. This imaginative hollow beast cover, intuitively shows the unique understanding and usage of the ancient Shu people to the bronze -sacrifice ritual instrument, which further provides a vivid example of the diversified pattern of Chinese civilization.

In addition, a bronze bird with hollowed wing is recently found, which is currently the only wing hollow bronze bird discovered by Samsung Dou.

At present, the No. 8 pit of Sanxingdui has bottomed out. It is expected to complete the extraction of the whole pit from the end of September to the beginning of October. The field excavation work is over, and it is completely transferred to the interior finishing and repairing work.
