Today, co -sponsored by Qingdao Natural Resources and Planning Bureau, China City Sculptor Association, China Academy of Arts Research Institute, Qingdao Public Space Art Promotion Center, Shaanxi Provincial Sculpture Institute , The “Fourth China Qingdao’ Belt and Road ”Sculpture Art Invitational Exhibition of 2022, China Sculptor Association, the Shandong Sculpture Artists Association, and the China Urban Sculptor Association Qingdao Creation Exhibition Center was launched at the Qingdao Sculpture Museum.

The theme of the exhibition is "New Silk Road and New Vision", and it has exhibited more than 90 sculptures and paintings from nearly 100 artists across the country. The theme of exhibits is wide, rich in content, meticulous portrayal of traditional Chinese culture, affectionate sangs of multi -ethnic integration, artistic reproduction of touching scenes in grand narrative, and ordinary and beautiful moments in daily life, show Colorful artistic charm. The artists use unique artistic language to explain a rich understanding of the ancient Silk Road, and the new connotation of the "Belt and Road" to the "Belt and Road" in today's era. The "Dialogue between the Confucius and Socrates" by Wu Weishan, the director of the China Art Museum, is a very representative work. With style, spirit and philosophy, have a broad view of time and space. Two sages representing East and West Culture, respectively, conduct ideological exchanges and soul dialogue spanning thousands of years, not only expressing the concepts of mutual learning and common development of civilizations in China, but also the outstanding opinions of human destiny. This exhibition continues the series of planning in 2016, 2017 and 2021. It is the fourth "Belt and Road" sculpture art invitation exhibition held in the Sculpture Museum of Qingdao City. With influence, it contributes to Qingdao's new international cooperation platform for Qingdao.
