"Outline of Guerrilla Tactics" written by Su Yu

This is a manuscript that condensed for more than 80 years. Today, through it, we can see the heroic posture written by General Su Yu under the dim oil lamp.

From January to March 1938, Su Yu taught a total of more than 30 hours of guerrilla tactical courses for the trainees while serving as the principal of the Anti -Japanese Salvation Cadre School in Fujian and Zhejiang. In order to talk about the course, he specially wrote the "Outline of Guerrilla Tactics". The full text of the "Outline of Guerrilla Tactics" is nearly 8,000 words. It summarizes the experience of the three -year guerrilla war and base construction of southern Zhejiang from the six aspects of strategic significance, task, organizational tactics, education, and supplement and supply. This textbook is the first military theoretical monograph in Su Yu's military career. It laid the basic framework of Su Yu on the military thought of guerrilla warfare. It was the first systematic and theoreticalization of Su Yu's military thought.

The Anti -Japanese Salvation Cadre School in Fujian and Zhejiang was the only "Anti -Big" cadre school in the 14 revolutionary bases of the eight provinces of the southern eight provinces that year. It was the first provincial cadre school founded by Zhejiang Province. In September 1937, the Zhejiang Anti -Japanese National United Front was formally formed. In order to adapt to the strategic transformation of the domestic war to the War of Resistance Against Japan, absorb training and training young intellectuals, and train a group of anti -Japanese war cadres.

The school borrows from Shanmen Township, Pingyang County as the school building. During the entrance examination, there were 135 students, of which 28 were female students. On January 15, 1938, the first training class was held.

Zeng Shan, deputy secretary of the Southeast Branch of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Liu Ying, Secretary of the Interim Provincial Party Committee of the CPC Fujian and Zhejiang Province, and Chen Tiejun, deputy commander of the guerrilla brigade I also went to the anti -school politics or military report. Although material living conditions are very difficult, everyone's spirit is very excited.

After graduation of the Anti -Japanese Salvation Cadre School, some cadres and students went north to resist Japan with the army. Most of them went to Zhejiang to assume the mission of Zhejiang's anti -Japanese rescue. Later, most of them grew into the backbone of each front. As Su Yu and others went north and the students to go, the school's spirit and experience of running the school have been spread and inherited in a larger scale.

In the memories of the students, I can always hear General Su Yu's passionate lectures, and the "Outline of Guerrilla Tactics" is the first classic they have contacted by the revolution.
