Wu Boxiao presented "Smoke and Dust Collection"

Recently, when the book was cleaned up, it was suddenly on, and a yellowed prose "Smoke and Dust Collection" suddenly entered my sight. This is a masterpiece given to me and my classmates more than 40 years ago. It has always been accompanied by me and has become a driving force for inspiration, spurring, and urging.

Teacher Wu Boxiao, the author of "Smoke and Dust Collection" (1906-1982), is a well-known contemporary writer and educator in my country.

After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Wu Boxiao went to Yan'an in April 1938, went to Yan'an, studied at the Anti -Japanese Military and Political University, and then worked at the south south of the Jin Dynasty. During the Yan'an period, he successively served as the head of the Shaanxi and Gansu and Ningxian Department of Education, Secretary -General of the Cultural Association, Professor of Yan'an University and North China University. After liberation, he served as a director and secretary -general of the National Committee of the National Cultural Worker Association, deputy president and editor -in -chief of the People's Publishing House, and deputy director of the Institute of Literature of the Academy of Social Sciences.

Teacher Wu Boxiao is a warrior who came out of the anti -Japanese beacon. His work comes from the fighting life of blood and fire, filled with a strong patriotic passion. Each of his works is like the horn of the charge, the flag of the leader, and the drums of helping; the characters are lively and touching.

The 28 beautiful texts in "Smoke and Dust Collection" were selected and republished from a large number of battlefield works, which were a real record of the life of the Anti -Japanese War.

On May 17, 1980, Teacher Wu Boxiao gave us the treasures and masterpieces of his painstaking effort to write to us. There is also an unforgettable past.

At that time, I worked as a Chinese teacher at Yunhe Middle School in Jinsang County. After telling the textbook "A Textile Vehicle" written by Mr. Wu Boxiao, it attracted a lot of interest in the students. After class, the classmates asked me one after another: "Where does Grandpa Wu Bo Xiao live? We want to see him more and listen to him about the story of the age of the Anti -Japanese War." The classmates were guilty.

Who knew that something unexpected happened soon. Chen Xingzhi, a particularly loved literature in the class, wrote a letter to Grandpa Wu. He couldn't think of several times, and Grandpa Wu actually received it. Then, he received a reply from Grandpa Wu and sent his prose "Smoke and Dust Collection", which also attached a letter to me. The letter talked about many valuable opinions on reading and writing. It is also suggested that this "Smoke and Dust Collection" read by Chen Xingzhi first, and then read the whole class to let everyone understand the stories that happened in the War of Resistance Against Japan. The students are ecstatic, if they get the treasure.

I held the letter from Teacher Bo Xiao, and tears came out of tears. What a respected and loved revolutionary predecessor, in the years of 耄耋 and busy work, he cares and guides the younger generation, try his best to satisfy their desires, inherit and follow the revolutionary torch. It is really a model for our learning.

I read the letter from Teacher Bo Xiao carefully. The day of the book was given on May 17, 1980, and then I found the resume information of Bo Xiao in 1982, and I felt more sad. It turned out that Mr. Wu Boxiao gave us a book and letter to us, and he left us forever in just two years.

Today, remembering this past is a memory, even more spurring and inheriting ...
