The archeological excavation of Sanxingdui sites in this round has achieved remarkable results since its launch in October 2020. Among them, the No. 3 and 4 pits of the site sacrifice area have been excavated, while the 5th and No. 6 pits are extracted and sent to the laboratory to carry out further excavations. At present, the archeological team of the Sanxingdui site sacrifice area mainly carried out excavation and cultural relics extraction work around No. 7 and No. 8 pits. Among them, the utensils in the No. 7 pit are mainly scattered bronze and jade, and a large turtle -shaped mesh in the past two days is extremely rare.
After more than a year of careful excavation, the large turtle -back grid in the No. 7 pit of the Sanxingdui site sacrifice area gradually revealed the truth. On the 14th of this month, archeologists successfully extracted this large bronze. This turtle -shaped grid is wrapped in a well -grinded oval complete jade in the upper and lower layers of the turtle -shaped grid. After extracting the turtle -shaped mesh -shaped mesh, archeologists were surprised to find that there was a large area of chip gold ware at the bottom. Is this golden device part of the turtle -back grid? Or did the gap happen to hold this golden device? Will it be a pair of gold masks? This needs to be revealed to archaeologists after further cleaning and extraction.
Li Haichao, archeological team of Sanxingdui Site Sacred Sacrifice: Temporarily called a turtle -shaped grid, but will eventually change it to a name. This utensil is indeed not seen in Sanxingdui or in the Bronze Age of China, and we have never seen it. This thing can be said to break through our cognitive system for Sanxingdui.
In addition to the large -scale turtle -shaped grid, archeologists have extracted exquisite jade chisels, jade and other utensils from the No. 7 pit in the past two days. It is understood that although most of the utensils in the No. 7 pits are scattered small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small small work Bronze and jade, but the number is very considerable. It is expected that the total amount of utensils to be extracted in the pit can reach tens of thousands. At present, the overall progress of the No. 7 pit is close to the end.
