My master's degree studies at the Department of Painting at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts (now the School of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University). At the beginning of the school, the instructor Du Dakai asked us to practice writing brushes every day. At that time, the basic teaching of the line drawing was to sketch on the rice paper directly with a brush, and the draft was not affordable. Teacher Zhang Yangang's line drawing class impressed me deeply. His character line drawing is not only accurate, but also turns through the back of the paper and the back of the circle. It is full of masculinity, and the skills and character are not well -known. The fancy of the face -to -face shape of the western sketch, the abstraction of the line condenses the wisdom of the ancient Chinese and the romance of the present people.

I have been painting with a brush painting since elementary school. In the late spring season, my colleagues and I went to Wuyuan to sketch. I like to read the ancient poems, and my love of ancient texts has always been infiltrating me and lingering. The beauty of ancient Chinese characters is far from the ability of modern Chinese, and I often cite ancient poems as the title of the work. In the current impetuous society, it is a kind of enjoyment to read ancient texts. I love Chinese culture and this ancient land.
