Baozhu Tower is located at No. 6, Shiping Road, Crich Town, and also known as Baozhu Mountain Room. It is named after Baozhu Mountain in the north. The past and present of the Baozhu Tower

The Baozhu Tower was founded in the Qing Dynasty and has a history of nearly 200 years. Its founder is called Feng Benhuai. The surname of Feng is a large family and large clan in Cicheng and even Cixi. It is also a long history in the history of the family in eastern Zhejiang.

In addition to the names of ancient scholars, they all have words and signs. Feng Benhuai's words and names are quite remote. His word "zhān", named "酉 (yǒu)", the specific year of birth and death can no longer be verified. The existing historical data proves that he held a person in the 19th year of Qing Daoguang (1839) and worked in the cabinet. After retiring and returning to Cicheng's hometown, he began his own collection career.

Before the transformation

The reporter visited the Baozhu Tower before the transformation. At that time, the Baozhu Building was divided into three two -room. The first floor was a residence. It was passed down on the second floor as a place where books were placed. The stairs were placed on both sides of the east and west. Walking into the library building carefully, the mottled wooden door was darked with red light, and there was no break on the door, and there were no traces of termites. The quality was superior. In 1949, at the request of Feng Benhuai's descendants, all the books in the Baozhu Tower were transferred to Hangzhou Xiling Yinshe properly. According to Feng Han, the descendants of the Feng family, all the books were installed in bamboo crickets at that time, and people carried them under the western Dexing Bridge on the west of Cicheng. They were shipped from here to the ship and passed through the waterway to Hangzhou. The staff of the Feng family and the staff of Xiling Yinshe escorted the whole process to ensure that these valuable books were foolproof. However, after the book of Baozhu Tower arrived at Xiling Yinshe, Yinxian did not write them separately and bibliographically.
