Although it is a work that focuses on life, the relationship is not simply telling a real story. On the one hand, it is very close to life, which can give the audience a sense of substitution; on the other hand, the distance is cleverly opened, the things hidden under life are tapped, giving the audience a perspective of jumping out of life. In the play, these characters that come out of life have multi -facetedness and are difficult to be labeled. In the play, the male protagonist Sha Chenxing is neither a "scum man" in the traditional sense, nor a poor man with suffering. His actions are sometimes angry and sometimes understandable. His wife Wu Xiaohua seemed to be "abandoned", but she was not a passive sad woman. She had more initiative for life. As for Ye Hang and Du Du, whether there is real love between them and Sha Chenxing, it is even more worthy of thought. These have given the audience a diverse perspective.
