A total of 5383 Mercedes -Benz recalls S -Class, GLE, and domestic E -Class

China Net Motor June 24th. Recently, Mercedes-Benz (China) Auto Sales Co., Ltd. and Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. It was required that the recall plan was filed with the State Administration of Market Supervision and planned to recall the following vehicles.

(1) Starting from August 10, 2022, the recall production date from August 14, 2020 to February 17, 2021, a total of 682 vehicles were imported, with a total of 682 vehicles.

The vehicle airbag control unit within this recall may not be tightened in accordance with the requirements of the process parameters. When the vehicle is driving normally, the airbag control unit may detect incorrect acceleration values. The possibility of accidental activation; when the vehicle occurs, the airbag control unit may also cause the occupant to restrict the restriction system to be unable to activate according to the same reason, and there are hidden safety hazards.

Mercedes-Benz (China) Auto Sales Co., Ltd. will authorize dealers through Mercedes-Benz to check whether the thread connection of the airbag control unit within the recall range is damaged. Standard torque is tight; if damage is damaged, repairs are not repaired, and bolts and nuts are replaced if they cannot be repaired to eliminate hidden safety hazards.

(2) Starting from June 24, 2022, the recall production date from February 17, 2020 to November 10, 2021 imported GLE 350 E 4MATIC vehicles with a total of 4697 vehicles.

The vehicle's vehicle power grid battery line beam fixed bolt may not be fixed normally due to insufficient fastening torque, resulting in an increase in resistance in the beam connector area, which may cause the temperature to increase in the area, and cannot completely exclude fire risks, and there are hidden safety hazards.

Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will authorize dealers through Mercedes-Benz to re-fix the vehicle within the recall range in accordance with the prescribed torque. Related parts and components will replace the damaged parts for free to eliminate hidden safety hazards.

(3) From June 24, 2022, a total of 4 domestic E -class vehicles from December 3, 2020 to June 1, 2021, a total of 4 vehicles.

Due to the software problem of the LED high -performance headlight control unit within this recall scope, it may cause LED high -performance headlight near -light lights to be unable to turn on, increasing the risk of accidents in the vehicle, and hidden safety hazards.
