German Finance Minister Lindner said on the 21st that fuel vehicles still have a market. The related ban on "EU's stop selling fuel vehicles in 2035" is wrong because automakers in other regions will continue to sell fuel vehicles. Lindner emphasized that the German government would not agree with the European Union's bill.

In fact, on the 8th of this month, the European Parliament has voted to support the European Commission's suggestions on the sale of new fuel vehicles in 2035, seeking to accelerate the popularization of electric vehicles within the European Union. However, the voting results of the European Parliament do not mean that through relevant laws, the ban on sale needs to be approved by EU member states to entertain. Therefore, after the German government explicitly opposed it, the process of transformation of the automotive industry to electric vehicles will be slowed down.

A research report released by the European Automobile Supplier Federation earlier shows that in the process of transformation of the automotive industry to electric vehicles, as of 2040, EU automobile suppliers may have to reduce 500,000 jobs. According to the report, with the booming of electric vehicles, the job positions of fuel vehicle suppliers will be greatly reduced, especially after 2030. Specifically, the country with the largest number of unemployed people is Germany, followed by Italy, Spain and other countries.
