China Automobile Association: Commercial vehicle production and marketing realizes the first growth of new energy vehicles this year's growth history, a new high

On September 9, the China Automobile Industry Association released the automotive industry production and sales data in August. In August, the consumption of passenger vehicles has risen steadily, and commercial vehicles have increased for the first time since this year. New energy vehicle production and sales and automobile exports have reached a record high year -on -year.

Specifically, although the production and sales of automobiles in August decreased slightly compared to last month, it still showed a high -speed growth year -on -year. The production and sales of cars this month were 2.395 million and 2.383 million, respectively, a decrease of 2.4%and 1.5%, respectively, an increase of 38.3%and 32.1%year -on -year, respectively. At present, the industry has continued to maintain a good development trend and is expected to continue. From January to August, the production and sales of automobiles were 16.967 million and 16.86 million, respectively, a year-on-year increase of 4.8%and 1.7%, respectively, the first time since the second quarter, the double production and sales increased.

In August, the production and sales of passenger vehicles were still obvious by the policy promotion effect. The production and sales of passenger vehicles in the month were 2.157 million and 2.25 million, respectively, a decrease of 2.4%and 2.3%, respectively, an increase of 43.7%and 36.5%year -on -year, respectively. Among them, the domestic sales volume of traditional fuel vehicles increased by more than 172,000 units over the same period last year, and the national purchase tax preferential policy effect continued to appear. From January to August, the production and sales of passenger vehicles were 14.803 million and 14.655 million, respectively, a year-on-year increase of 14.7%and 11.7%, respectively.

High -end brand passenger cars grow rapidly. In August, the sales of high -end brands produced in China were 351,000 units, an increase of 43.5%year -on -year. Judging from the situation in the past three months, some high -end brands have also been promoted by preferential purchase tax policies, and the market has resumed significantly. From January to August, the sales volume of high-end brands produced in China was 2.373 million units, an increase of 6.6%year-on-year.

In terms of commercial vehicles, the production and sales of production and sales in August have grown for the first time this year. In the month, the production and sales of commercial vehicles were 238,000 and 258,000, respectively. The output decreased by 2.7%month -on -month, and sales increased by 5%from the previous month; and the year -on -year increased by 3.1%and 4%, respectively.

In terms of new energy vehicles, its production and sales continued to grow in August. In the month, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 691,000 and 666,000, respectively. The monthly production and sales reached a record high, and the production and sales increased by 1.2 times and doubled respectively. From January to August, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 3.97 million and 3.86 million, respectively, an increase of 1.2 times and 1.1 times year-on-year, respectively.

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics compiled by the China Automobile Association, in July, the automobile manufacturing industry continued to grow rapidly, and it continued to rise significantly. Among them, the added value increased by 22.5%year -on -year, and the growth rate increased significantly by 6.3 percentage points from the previous month. The operating income was further narrowed, and the profit rebounded faster.

From January to July, the added value of the automotive manufacturing industry increased by 1.3%year-on-year, and the operating income was 4878.78 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.3%, and the profit was 273.94 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 14.4%, the profit margin was 5.6%, which was higher than 1-6 higher than 1-6 0.4 percentage points a month.

In terms of exports, it hit a new high in August. Auto companies exported 308,000 vehicles, exceeding 300,000 for the first time. Exports increased by 6.2%month -on -month and 65%year -on -year. From the perspective of the division, the passenger car exported 260,000 units on the month, an increase of 7.6%month -on -month, an increase of 68.7%year -on -year; the export of commercial vehicles was 49,000 units, a decrease of 0.3%month -on -month, an increase of 47.5%year -on -year. Increased by 53.6%, an increase of 82.3%year -on -year, showing a high -speed growth momentum.

From January to August, automobile companies exported 1.817 million units, an increase of 52.8%year-on-year. Among them, the export of passenger vehicles was 1.446 million, a year -on -year increase of 56.4%; commercial vehicles exported 371,000 units, an increase of 40.2%year -on -year; new energy vehicles exported 340,000 units, an increase of 97.4%year -on -year.

The China Automobile Association stated that the recent executive meeting of the State Council has decided to continue the implementation of policies such as new energy vehicles exemption tax purchase taxes and promote large consumption. The Ministry of Transport and other joint issues jointly issued the "Action Plan for Accelerating the Construction of Charging Infrastructure along the Highway" to improve the layout of infrastructure and support the vigorous development of the new energy vehicle industry. Related policies have further enhanced the confidence of industry enterprises to develop new energy vehicles, which is conducive to the accelerated transformation and upgrading of the automotive industry.

The China Automobile Association predicts that under the continuous role of the central and local governments' stable economy and promoting consumer policies, and the problem of electricity tensions caused by extreme high temperature drying in the south has eased, with the advent of the traditional gold consumption season, passenger cars in the next few months will still be still passenger cars in the next few months.
