On August 25, local time, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) voted for the new regulations, and new fuel power vehicles will be banned in 2035.
According to the new regulations, the sales quota set by the first -hand and zero -emission vehicle will be increased year by year. By 2026, the sales quota of zero -emission vehicles must be 35%in the new car, SUV and small pickups sold in California, and 51 in 2028 will reach 51 in 2028%, 68%in 2030, and 100%in 2035. The quota in the specified regulation will also allow 20%of zero -emission vehicles to be plug -in hybrid vehicles.(CCTV reporter Xu Dezhi)
