Recently, the "New Energy Vehicle" was repeatedly mentioned by the "Implementation Plan for the Industrial Field" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan") jointly issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. Including the request to vigorously promote energy conservation and new energy vehicles, increase the proportion of new energy vehicles in the fields of urban logistics and distribution, increase the proportion of personal consumption of new energy vehicles, and promote the construction of new energy vehicle power battery recycling system.

Experts believe that new energy vehicles can achieve rapid development and have absolute relationships with policy support. For example, new energy vehicle subsidies, relaxation of cars' qualifications, purchasing new energy vehicles to send "green cards", exemption of purchase tax, etc., all help new new energy vehicles, all help new. Energy vehicles have become a hot star "industrial track".

In order to achieve carbon peaks, it is of great significance

In fact, this "Plan" is more in and ink in "new energy vehicles", which is related to the importance of the transportation industry to reduce carbon emissions.

Authoritative data shows that in 2018, carbon emissions in China's transportation industry accounted for about 11%of the whole society, and highway freight, waterway freight, and civil aviation passenger transportation accounted for the top three carbon emissions in the transportation industry.

The "Plan" proposes that by 2025, the value -added energy consumption of industrial units above designated scale will decrease by 13.5%compared with 2020, and the decline in the discharge of carbon dioxide in the unit's industrial added value is greater than the decline in the whole society, and the intensity of carbon dioxide emissions in key industries has decreased significantly.

In this regard, Cui Dongshu, Secretary -General of the National Automobile Market Information Joint Association, pointed out that at present, the carbon reduction tasks in domestic large cities are under pressure, and the transportation field, especially public and private travel, carbon reduction is relatively easy to improve. Therefore A large and medium -sized city to achieve the goal of carbon peaks.

The "Plan" also emphasizes that it is necessary to vigorously promote energy -saving and new energy vehicles, strengthen the innovation of vehicle integration technology, and increase the concentration of the new energy vehicle industry. By 2030, the proportion of transportation tools for new energy and clean energy power will reach 40% of the year On the left and right, the intensity of carbon dioxide emissions of passenger and commercial vehicles decreased by more than 25%and 20%compared with 2020, respectively.

Zhang Xiang, Dean of the New Energy Vehicle Technology Research Institute of Jiangxi New Energy Technology Vocational College of New Energy Technology, told the China New Jingwei Research Institute that the development of new energy vehicles is very important for the realization of carbon peaks in the industrial field. To reduce carbon emissions, we must not only vigorously promote intelligent intelligence Transportation, increase the amount and penetration of new energy vehicles, and also increase the use of clean energy such as photovoltaic power generation, wind power power generation, and strengthen energy conservation and emission reduction efforts from the source.

Is it a squeezing effect on the fuel vehicle?

The "Plan" clearly proposes to "increase the proportion of personal consumption of new energy vehicles". In the case of the industry scale, the continuous expansion of new energy vehicles will inevitably form a certain "squeeze effect" for traditional fuel vehicles.

Cui Dongshu pointed out that in the future, increasing the proportion of personal consumption of new energy vehicles will help the sustainable development of the new energy vehicle market and accelerate the optimization of product structure of car companies. Therefore, car companies should choose to move, seize the opportunity to change the industrial chain, and do a good job in the layout of the new energy vehicle industry.

According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in the first half of 2022, China New Energy Vehicle continued to grow high, with a total of 1.2 times year -on -year production and sales, and the market share reached 21.6%. In June, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 590,000 and 596,000, respectively, an average of 1.3 times year -on -year, a record high.

In fact, with the large number of new energy vehicles entering the market, it has exacerbated the shrinking of traditional fuel vehicles and profit margins to a certain extent. At the same time, the profit margin of domestic high -end fuel vehicles has continued to decline.

Cui Dongshu believes that domestic new energy vehicles shift from B -end consumer groups to the market to fully compete in the market, which is inevitable for market development. The continuous tempering of car companies in the full competition market will help improve the industry's competitiveness of car companies.

In Zhang Xiang's view, China can become the world's largest automotive market, the main reason is that the private car market for C -side customer groups has been fully market -oriented. In the future, the new energy vehicle industry must also follow the development path of "new energy vehicles that can be affected by ordinary people and can use good new energy vehicles".

Data show that compared with the early days of the "Thirteenth Five -Year Plan", the proportion of private consumption in domestic new energy vehicles increased from 47%to 78%, and the proportion of private consumption of non -purchase cities increased from 40%to 70%, and its development momentum was rapid.

Industrial development still needs to make up for shortcomings

New energy vehicles are becoming a highlight of automobile consumption. The China Automobile Industry Association predicts that Chinese automobile sales are expected to exceed 27 million in 2022, an increase of about 3%year -on -year. Among them, the sales of new energy vehicles are expected to reach 5.5 million units, a record high.

However, in the future, new energy vehicles need to achieve sustainable development in the future, and multiple shortcomings are still needed. The first is the continued increase in the proportion of new energy vehicle batteries at the proportion of total cost, restricting the rapid development of the scale of the new energy vehicle industry. In the past one or two years, the price of new energy battery raw materials has risen sharply. According to incomplete statistics, the price of precious metals cobalt has increased by more than 800%within one year, and lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide prices have also increased by more than 500%.

In this context, the "Plan" proposes to implement the production of producer responsibility extension and promote the construction of new energy vehicle power battery recycling and utilization system.

Zhang Xiang said that the "battery recycling" proposed by the policy can be said to be a good medicine to solve the current new energy vehicle battery raw material supply. "At present, the recycling industry of the new energy vehicle battery has just begun, and its development is not transparent; and the power battery of automobiles has not achieved the whole life cycle tracking. If it is not handled properly, it will cause serious pollution to the environment." He further emphasized.

At present, domestic new energy vehicles have more than 10 million vehicles, and the battery capacity of each new energy vehicle exceeds 40 watts. Supply and demand is tight, and at the same time, it can further alleviate the pressure of natural ecological environment. The recycling of new energy vehicle batteries will also become a huge development industry.

In fact, the price increase of power battery raw materials has caused a state of imbalance in the profit distribution of the new energy vehicle industry chain to a certain extent. This is the statement of the person in charge of a car company that "car manufacturing companies work for battery factories".

In this regard, Cui Dongshu said that with the effective development of nickel, cobalt, lithium, tungsten and other mineral resources and the further release of industry capacity, the profit of the new energy vehicle industry will naturally return to downstream car companies, which takes some time.

As we all know, the development of the new energy vehicle industry has supported the development of relevant policies, and the support and guidance of policy are essential for the development of the new energy vehicle industry. In 2019, the decline in subsidies for new energy vehicles exceeded 50%of the past. At that time, domestic new energy vehicle sales overall sales showed a negative growth trend.

Therefore, in Zhang Xiang's opinion, domestic new energy vehicles must maintain the momentum of sustainable and healthy development, "policies for support for the new energy vehicle industry cannot stop." After all, compared with traditional fuel vehicles, new energy vehicles still have a lot of room for improvement in terms of service life, battery safety, and production costs.
