Due to the nearby scrap period, the replacement of the new car was put on the agenda.

The Xu Min line is a major backbone line in the southwest of Shanghai with a long history. On February 1, 1923, the predecessor of the Xu Min line, the route line of the Humin long -distance road passenger bus line was officially operated, from the domestic cargo road to Minhang, the total length of the line was 29.13 kilometers. On July 1, 1958, the Humin Long Road Line was officially transferred to the Shanghai Public Transport Company to take over, named Xu Min Line, and used it to this day.
