Wang Haiyun's team draws the technical roadmap in the field of Beijing gene editing in the next 10 years

Gene editing was one of the medical health sub -fields developed by Beijing during the "Fourteenth Five -Year Plan" period, but at present, there are still some difficulties and deficiencies in the development process of gene editing technology. Recently, Wang Haiyun Research Team of the Institute of Innovation and Development Strategy of Beijing Institute of Science and Technology Research Team relying on special issues of financial funds to draw a technical roadmap in the field of gene editing in Beijing in the next decade.

Based on the planning of Beijing's pharmaceutical and health industry, the research team focuses on analyzing the current status of the technological development of the field of gene editing, and draws the technical roadmap that is suitable for the development of Beijing's gene editing in the next 10 years. The implementation of products, key technologies and other elements proposes targeted countermeasures.

According to research, at the policy level, the policy environment of Beijing gene editing technology in the next 10 years will become more and more mature. By issuing the relevant regulations of the gene editing industry or formulating relevant standard specifications, the domestic gene editing policy and standard leader can be ahead By. At the market level, Beijing will have a great advantage in the industrialization of the gene editing market. It can promote clinical trials in areas with extensive prospects such as genetic diseases, tumor treatment, and heterogeneous organ transplantation in genetic editing technology. At the product level, in the future, gene editing products have good application prospects. It is necessary to vigorously promote the technical application of virus vector, nucleic acid sequence synthesis, tumor and genetic disease gene therapy drugs. At the technical level, 7 technologies such as gene editing technology are high, and seven technologies such as gene editing derivative technology and new underlying technologies are most suitable for research and development in Beijing. Two technologies of CRISPR/CAS9 and other systems and biological delivery systems are most suitable for industrialization in Beijing.

At present, the R & D team of this achievement has written 2 briefings to form a monograph on the "Beijing Pharmaceutical Health Industry Technology Road Map" to provide policy suggestions for the long -term development of Beijing's pharmaceutical and health industry and the establishment of relevant technology research and development in the construction of the international science and technology innovation center. It also provides decision -making reference to the competent government department. The next step will continue to improve the research results and strive to be adopted by scientific research institutions or enterprises in the field of gene editing to support them to carry out research and development or layout related technologies.
