Foreign media said that the overall area of the factory covers an area of about 200,000 square meters, and the investment is about 80 million US dollars. In addition to smartphones, various parts such as data transmission equipment and circuit substrates will be produced.

Xiaomi Vietnam representatives said that in addition to supplying local markets, these equipment will also be exported to some Southeast Asian markets including Malaysia and Thailand.

It is worth noting that according to the data of the industry analysis company Counterpoint, Xiaomi is the second largest smartphone manufacturer in Vietnam, which occupies a market share of 20.6% in the first three months of this year.
