At that time, the scientific research costs invested by the Japanese side reached about 40 million yen (equivalent to more than 2 million yuan at the time). "At that time, we were in the learning stage as a whole, and there was no sufficient funding to invest in the detection equipment, but we had young teams and excellent sites." In January 1990, Yangbajing No. 1 small array and Yangbajing observation station with 45 detectors were initially completed. At that time, the Japanese side almost dominated the entire scientific research activities. Moreover, for a long time, the Yangbajing Cosmic Line Observation Station has not had stable operating expenses, and all operations have been borne by scientific research topics.

Through the study and growth of previous cooperation, in 2000, we ushered in the "equal" cooperation, the Yangbajing ARGO project cooperated with the high energy of the Italian National Academy of Nuclear Sciences (INFN). This time, whether it is construction to research, both parties, whether they are funding, the investment of manpower, and the completion of the final scientific papers, are allocated by the proportion of '1: 1'.

The exploration of more than 70 years has created today's pull cables.
