The "Zhu Rong" landing area once existed in water activities
A number of research results show that there are marks of water activity in the landing area of Zhurong Mars.
The landing area of Zhurong Mars is located in the south of the Mars Utopia Plain. After more than a year of inspection and detection, Zhu Rong Mars has obtained a large number of scientific detection information. Among them, the image data of navigation and terrain cameras show that there are plate -like rocks rich in minerals in the landing area, and these rocks are closely related to water activity.

The data of the basic map of the landing area consists of two parts, and the first part is mainly made from the image obtained by the high -resolution camera carried by the surrounding device.

As of now, Tianwen No. 1 task has obtained 1480GB of original scientific detection data. But all the scientific results that have been obtained are not directly from these original data, but are derived from the data products formed.
The original data returned by Tianwen No. 1 mission contains a lot of content. Therefore, after receiving these data, ground scientific researchers must first decode, extract different types of information from complex original data, form standard data products, and then provide a team of scientists for research.
