Several people familiar with the matter told the TECH planet that Lu Dongdong rarely participated in the business since last year. According to industry insiders, Lu Dongdong's latest movement is to join Southeast Asian e -commerce platform Shoppe.

Lu Dongdong is one of the important founding members of Himalayan. He has participated in the construction of the Himalayan technology team and witnessed the process of Himalayan from 0 to 1 to 700 million users. He himself has grown all the way to CTO, responsible for the entire Himalayan technology and products, and has worked in Himalayan for 10 years.
Prior to 2021, Lu Dongdong had always been the Himalayan CTO, but in 2021, his work content in Himalayan was adjusted from the CTO position to COO, and began to be responsible for the Himalayan operation system. In less than a year, he left from the COO position.
Public information shows that Lu Dongdong graduated from the Computer Department of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. After graduating, he worked in Hong Kong -funded enterprises "Overseas Overseas" for three years. In 2010, he joined the former "there" (the main business is anchor show and community), and he was responsible for the server architecture. Later, the "there" announced failure.
In 2012, Lu Dongdong cooperated to develop Himalayan FM products and began to be responsible for the technical team of Himalayan products. As the largest audio platform in China, Himalayan has shocked the IPO three times since last year, but the latest progress has not yet been announced. There are market rumors that Himalayan may re -apply for listing in September this year.
Since its official launch in 2013, although Himalayan has settled in the first challenge of China's online audio track, the valuation is as high as 24 billion yuan. However, it has not achieved profitability. The prospectus shows that in the past three years, the cumulative losses of Malaiya after adjustment were 2.047 billion yuan.
