Natural enzymes have attracted attention with high catalytic efficiency and strong selectivity of the substrate. However, most of the natural enzymes have disadvantages such as production and purification operations and poor stability under extreme conditions, which seriously limits its applications in complex and even harsh industrial reaction systems. Super molecular assembly is one of the most effective ways to simulate natural enzymes. Inspired by the mussel adhesion protein, biomolecular dopamine forms a polynamine film on the surface of any composition and shape of the material on a weak alkaline environment, which has aroused a wide range of interests from researchers. In particular, the abundant phthlol and amino groups in polydopamine enable it to match a variety of metal ions, bringing new opportunities for simulated natural metal enzymes.
Recently, Professor Li Hong of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Xi'an University of Petroleum University has made important progress in the research on the construction of polydopamine bionic enzymes. The relevant work was published in the Small (IF = 15.153) and Journal of Colloid and Interface Science ( In the first area of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, IF = 9.965) journals. The research team reported a method of building a method of using oxidized cellulose as a template copper doped polyetamine. It is prepared to obtain a film with oxide cellulose as a carrier and a copper ion as an active center. It has two similar activity of natural enzymes, including paint enzymes and peroxidase. The film can effectively catalyze the phenylphenols to form benzal, and the catalytic efficiency is three times that of natural paint enzymes. In addition, the film has the activity similar to peroxidase, which can catalyze the oxidation response of hydrogen peroxide to 3,3 ', 5,5'-tetrahyininelinine aniline, generate blue oxidation products, and then applied to peroxidation Sensitive detection of hydrogen and ascorbic acid. Compared with natural enzymes, bionic enzymes also have the advantages of low cost, easy storage and transportation, good stability, and recyclable use. The related results are published in the title of "Flexible Recyclace Cellulose Paper Template Cu-DOPED POLYDOPAMINE Membranes with Dual Dual Enzyme-Like Activity" (DOI: 10.1002/SMLL.2022022022022022222222222222222222222222222222222222222 is published.
Further, the project team used copper ions to oxidize the deposition of dopamine on the fibrin membrane. By simply and quickly prepared a cellulose as a carrier and copper ion as the activated center Essence Studies have shown that the film has catalytic activity similar to natural lacquer enzymes. Moreover, bionic enzymes show more efficient catalytic performance and better affinity. In addition, bionic enzymes have good storage stability and reusable use. After 7 days of preservation of room temperature, 100%activity can be maintained. After 5 cycles, catalytic activity has not changed significantly.相关成果以“Cu-boosted one-pot nanoarchitectonics for synthesis of polydopamine membranes as reusable laccase mimic”为题发表在化学权威期刊Journal of Colloid and Interface Science上(DOI: 10.1016/j.jcis.2022.07.167)。 The above work has been funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shaanxi Province High -level Talent Program, and Shaanxi Youth Science and Technology Star Support Program.
