From August 14th to August 22nd, Zhao Dongyao and Shao Zhenzhen of the Beijing Astronomical Museum led 5 middle school students from 3 provinces and cities across the country to participate in the 15th International Astronomical and Celestial Physics Olympic Competition (IOAA) online. A total of 244 players from 49 national teams from 48 countries participated in this competition.

The International Olympic Olympic Competition of International Astronomy and Astronomical Physics is the most influential international astronomical competition in the world. Since the first session in 2007, it has been held for 15 years. Excellent players participate in the middle school astronomical enthusiasts covering all over the world. This year's competition is divided into two offline and online venues. Offline is organized by Georgia, 42 national offline competitions, 6 national online competitions. In order to ensure the fairness of the competition, the online participating countries coordinate the competition at the same time.
