From the first test to the present, his preliminary understanding of salt pond is that the microorganisms in this include three categories: bacteria, ancient bacteria, and fungi, and he pays attention to bacteria. On the whole, there are relatively many types of bacteria in salt ponds, with more than 300 types, of which advantageous bacteria account for 30%, and there are some rare bacteria. At present, research is ongoing.

He used a metaphor to explain the ecological diversity of Yanchi: Sometimes, if a tiger was found somewhere, everyone would be excited. Why? Because the appearance of a tiger can explain the existence of the food chain top of the tiger. The tiger can catch a deer, indicating that at least there will be ten deer here. There are ten deer, which shows that the grass here is enough to eat such a deer group. Therefore, the emergence of birds can highlight the biodiversity and ecological sustainability of a certain place from one side.
