Beijing Astronomical Museum successfully held the 2022 Astronomical Olympics National Team Training Activity

From August 3rd to 6th, 2022, the Beijing Astronomical Museum successfully held the Astronomical Olympic National Team Training Campaign. Affected by the epidemic, this event uses online lectures and online examinations. A total of 25 middle school students from 8 provinces and municipalities across the country participated in the training. These students were selected from the National Middle School Student Astronomical Knowledge Competition held in the first half of this year.

At the opening ceremony, Professor Wang Xiaofeng of the Beijing Astronomical Museum introduced the achievements of the national team players in the previous Astronomical Olympics, and the talents that the Beijing Astronomical Museum cultivated and transported to the astronomical field by organizing an astronomical competition.

The content of the training of this training is aimed at the special training of the Olympics. The teachers are all teachers of the Beijing Olympic Study Museum of Science Research from the Beijing Astronomical Museum with the experience of international Olympics and referee. The gold medals of previous Olympics also shared their participating experience and rich competition knowledge for their classmates. We also invited the "Big Coffee" scholars of the National Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the University of China, Peking University, and Beijing Normal University to bring wonderful scientific lectures to the students.
