On the afternoon of August 5th, the Provincial Government and China Telecom Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the construction of the digital hub for South Asia and Southeast Asian Radiation Center in Kunming. The secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Wang Ning and the governor Wang Yubo met with the party secretary and chairman of China Telecom Group Co., Ltd. and the chairman of the party, and witnessed the signing of the contract.

Wang Ning thanked China Telecom for its long -term support for Yunnan's poverty alleviation, rural revitalization, and economic and social development. He said that in recent years, the pace of development of Yunnan has continued to accelerate, and the future development potential is huge. Yunnan is vigorously implemented the three -year operation of the digital economy, promoting the construction of a large digital province, the construction of digital hubs and communication hubs for South Asia and Southeast Asian Radiation Center. It is hoped that China Telecom will actively participate in the construction of Digital Yunnan, focus on the digital economy, digital society, digital governments, digital cities, digital tourism and other fields, strengthen project planning, increase investment, accelerate construction progress, lay out research and development centers, and jointly build radiation to South Asia, Southeast Asia South Asia, Southeast Asia Central digital hub. We will create a first -class business environment, provide first -class service guarantees, and help enterprise development.

Corwen said that China Telecom will continue to deepen cooperation with Yunnan, increase investment in Yunnan, and continuously deepen the cooperation between the two parties in the construction of digital information infrastructure and digital government affairs.

According to the agreement, China Telecom will increase its support for Yunnan in the fields of network infrastructure construction, computing power infrastructure construction, and international communications business, and help the construction of digital Yunnan and digital hubs.

Liu Fei, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Executive Deputy Governor, and a member of the Party Group of China Telecom Group and the chief accountant Li Yinghui signed a contract on behalf of both parties.
