For patients with good prognosis, their cancer recurrence and cancer diffusion are very low, and they do not require other treatment after surgery. For patients with poor prognosis, 60%of patients will recur after 5 years of treatment after surgery, so they need to be done just now. At the time of surgery, continued to receive a thorough treatment chemotherapy, which increased the cure rate by 20%to 30%.

"At the same time, we also hope that when using anti -cancer drugs for clinical treatment, we can use 'biomarkers' to predict the benefits of patients." Professor David Cole introduced that if he can develop through research and development of artificial intelligence and molecular biology, The genetic test method to identify high -risk patients can provide patients with more targeted treatment and prevention.

He introduced that during chemotherapy, a few people would have serious side effects, or extend the hospitalization time due to treatment side effects. If a high -risk patient can be screened by gene testing, the dose of chemotherapy can be changed, and then chemotherapy is performed to avoid the pain of patients, toxic and side effects, reducing the burden on the health service system, and allowing patients to spend less money. In addition, people with high risk of intestinal cancer can be identified, and cancer can be recognized as early as possible by regular colonoscopy, thereby cure cancer.
