Music is ubiquitous in our lives, and has penetrated into every "pore" on us. Students who are riding in bicycles love the popular songs of the present, and the bustling supermarkets play soothing classical songs. Even if you surf on the Internet, whether it is a drama or a game, it is indispensable for those melodious background music.

Not only music, noise can also analgesic
Music has been the best medium to express, express and evoke emotions since ancient times. As everyone knows, music still has analgesic effect. In the 1960s, scientists have found that music can relieve chronic pain, and even some noise can analgesic. For example, when you are toothache, as long as you hear the "Zizi" sound from the electric drill during dental surgery, the toothache will be more than half. Why can listening to music relieve pain? Is it because listening to music has dispersed our attention? For half a century, no one gave the answer.
Recently, three Chinese joint teams from the University of Science and Technology of China, Anhui Medical University and the National Health Research Institute published research results in the top journal "Science". (Music and noise) analgesic neural mechanism.
5 -point decibels higher than environmental noise can be analgesic
The researchers chose a batch of inflammation of the claws, and divided the mice into 3 groups, listening to soothing music, uncoordinated notes, and white noise. Low decibels (whispering in your ears) can relieve pain, but the sound is louder and there is no obvious analgesic effect. Surprisingly, this analgesic effect has nothing to do with the melody of music.
Further research found that as long as it is less than 5 decibels of environmental noise, it can have obvious analgesic effects. The sound under this intensity can effectively inhibit the cortical hill brain circuit related to pain, thereby giving an analgesic effect.
This study shows that "sound therapy" may be used as an auxiliary therapy to relieve pain. For example, with some analgesic drugs, it can effectively reduce the dose of analgesic drugs.
There is still an unsolved mystery of sound analgesia
This research is just the "corner of the iceberg" that reveals sound analgesics, but there are many unsolved mysteries between the sound and pain. For example, some sounds can not only relieve pain, but also exacerbate pain. Moreover, people and mice are different. People can perceive many emotions from their sounds. Will these emotions affect and how they affect pain. We all know these interesting issues. Flection and progress.
If you can figure out this problem, sound therapy may become a reality.
