China's computing power construction network communication analysis report: some "card neck" key technologies are expected to get breakthrough

On July 31, at the conference on the results of the China Computing Power Conference in Jinan, Shandong, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology News Propaganda Center released the "2021-2022 Analysis Report of China Computing Power Construction Network Communication" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report"). The "Report" emphasizes that in the second half of the year, we need to focus on three aspects. First, in the competition barrier of the technology "card neck", some key technologies are expected to get breakthroughs; The higher requirements; the third is that the need for intensive, scale, and greening makes energy -saving technology may become a key direction for the research and development of computing power technology.

As an important achievement of the first China Computing Power Conference, the "Report" panorama showed the network dissemination of China's computing power construction, sorted out public opinion's evaluation of the development of computing power, and judged the risk of network communication and development of computing power.

The "Report" presented the network communication trend of China's computing power from five aspects: network communication trend, information distribution situation, regional communication volume, media communication high -frequency words, and hot topic lists.

The "Report" adopts a combination of "system+manual", relying on the Big Data Public Opinion Monitoring System of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Public Data Public Opinion Monitoring System to evaluate the comprehensive communication of computing power construction of the provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and enterprises.

The "Report" shows that the computing power construction capacity of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Hubei provinces is leading the country. Among them, Beijing, as the capital, has the advantages of politics, economy, culture, location, and media resources, and in terms of policy planning, industry practice, scientific research innovation, and coordinated development of urban circles in other cities across the country, The top of the 65 -point comprehensive communication index was ranked first. Followed by the overall economic level of Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, and other provinces and cities with large investment in data center construction.

The "Report" pointed out that today, which is becoming increasingly fierce in the global computing power competition, my country's international competition has more powerful competitiveness and unique advantages in international competition. Public opinion is generally optimistic about the huge potential contained in my country's computing power market, highly affirmed the coordination and leading role of computing power construction on economic and social development, and generally given positive evaluations in core issues such as support policies, strategic layout, infrastructure construction.

The "Report" pointed out that there is still insufficient computing power construction in China at the moment. The key technology "card neck" is still the pain point of the industry. The overall energy consumption and carbon emissions of computing power infrastructure need to be valued. The security of network information is not to be sloppy; the problem of imbalances in supply and demand, and uneven regional distribution problems in data center construction need to be resolved urgently.
